I visited the tea lounge without prior booking and they able to give me a table. Was not busy at the time I went (around 12:30pm) so the atmosphere was very relaxing and cozy. The lounge is very nicely decorated. The staff was very professional and very attentive. The afternoon tea was good and they were able to provide vegetarian options. I must say that the scones were good but not the best I have tried and did not feel 100% fresh. I would have appreciated home-made jam instead of the one in the jar. I paid around 39 pounds which is acceptable, but within the same price range there are some better options available in the city.
Very accommodating service and very comfortable lounge. They subbed out the desserts for my diabetic mother in law with fresh fruit. All the food was very good, especially the scones, which didn't leave that film of weirdness in my mouth that some scones do. The whole afternoon tea experience is £35pp.
The lounge opens right at noon, and for the folks with noon reservations who showed up a few minutes early we were confused as to where to go.
Came here with my husband to try their afternoon tea and our experience was superb! Really good value for the money. There was a good balance of savory and sweet. Mohammad and Sibi made it extra special with their amazing service! Definitely recommend coming here!
Impressive hotel lobby which leads to a lovely little tea room. Tea and food selections were perfect. Hostesses were kind and helpful, and we weren’t rushed. You cannot visit London without an afternoon tea… a nice quiet break from the busy streets.
I went with a friend for our first experience with high tea, and it was everything we'd dreamed it would be! The Clermont Victoria has a lovely tearoom and the service from Lumi and Gemma was excellent - they were very accommodating of our pescatarian and vegetarian diets and provided us with different options for our sandwiches. We will definitely be back!
Expensive afternoon tea must be done at least once on a first visit to London! The drink was amazing as well as great coffee! Decor was wonderful as well as service. Food was good but seemed either thawed or at least refrigerated for quite a bit. Worth the experience. (£45 = $55 at the time)

Had such a wonderful afternoon at the Clermont Victoria’s tea lounge! Mohammed and Lumi were accommodating and attentive during our visit. The scones and nibbles were plentiful for the four of us and the tea and champagne allowed us to have a very relaxing afternoon. To top it off, the chandelier, fireplace, and comfortable seating adds a perfect ambiance. Will absolutely be back on a return trip to London!
I booked afternoon tea for a friend and I today and what a truly fabulous time we had at the Grosvenor Hotel in the Park Room.
Staff were genuinely warm and friendly when we arrived and a lovely lady called Lidia, looked after us. The choice of teas were amazing and if you decide you want to try something different and don't like it, they'll replace with a tea of your choice.
The food was divine - really fresh, tasty sandwiches. Warm scones with a choice of four jams - the blackcurrant was gorgeous and the cake choice was beautifully displayed - all so lovely.
Best afternoon tea this year - definitely coming back and definitely 5 stars!
