Went with my family during our trip to England. The salmon sushi plate was surprisingly good for a Chinese and Japanese fusion restaurant. The prices are low, which is why they are cash-only. They seem to have a big take-away business. The service was amazing. I really liked the Dan Dan Noodle. The kids loved the bento boxes.

I’ve updated this review, as the problems below have been fixed. Great restaurant, great food, and much improved delivery.

This is a great restaurant when you turn up in person, and I'd urge you to do so. The saliva chicken, in particular, is amazing.
But I ordered a takeaway earlier this evening, and got this message:
"Just letting you know that we started preparing your order at 07:48 PM.
It will be delivered in about 50-65 minutes"
It has now been 85 minutes, and still no delivery. I've tried to call them, but they won't pick up the phone. Not good enough.

we've had takeaway from these guys several times in the last month and its always been brilliant. A real change from typical chinese food, good range of options and great dumplings. Arrives quickly and is delicious. Really doesn't deserve the low ratings on here - would definitely recommend.

Tasty food, the crispy shredded duck is amazing!! If you like Chinese food etc - this you must try. Food arrived piping hot and fresh and within 35 minutes. Excellent value for money - bill came to £39 and fed 4 people comfortably. The Lady on the telephone was very nice and welcoming. I will be ordering again very soon. 👌🏽

Ordered for delivery. Super tasty and incredibly quick.
Unfortunately my dumplings weren’t there, instead some prawn spring rolls. And my crispy duck came with sweet and sour sauce instead of plum sauce. Would’ve liked to drop them an email or leave a comment within their ordering system but no address or contact form.

This restaurant is amazing! We came here for meat options before and it’s been incredible. Tonight we came here for pescatarian food and it’s blown our minds. The squid skewers are incredible. The aubergine noodles and veggie dan Dan noodles are some of the best sauces we’ve ever tasted. We go out to eat a lot and this restaurant has truly blown away our expectations. The staff are incredible, so friendly and the service has been great. An incredible meal. Thanks so much guys!

we must have ordered here 30 times. I love it. Everyone I have ever taken there loves it. Hong Kong residents I have taken there ...Three on separate occasions where all taken aback by the quality. We regularly order take away and also I go there to eat with friends . The staff are always polite and friendly. It deserves to be way more popular. I am vegetarian and it is great for that ...many of my friends are not veggie but still love it.
The best hidden gem of a restaurant in Camberwell.

Absolutely delicious! Ordered off Deliveroo. Fast delivery and good quality food. The egg fried rice looks and tasted fresh. Leaves you full, but lovely and light.

I have just had the best special fried rice ever!! Excellent service quick and efficient, food was perfect when we got it.
The chicken curry was very tasty as well as the pork dumplings.
We will definitely order again !

Food was great and tasted at least decent authentic. Staff were very friendly and pleasant.
Very quiet on a Wednesday night, but that's not a bad thing. We had the 口水鸡 (saliva chicken), 夫妻肺片 (husband and wife slices), 抄手 (pork dumplings), and the 担担面 (dandan noodles). I wasn't totally convinced by the noodles, but the rest were good.
This is a local for us so we'lll be back. Definitely want to try the 回锅肉 next time!

Ordered spicy crispy beef, Singapore noodles, mixed crispy pancake rolls. I can honestly say that this is the best Chinese I’ve ever had. Sooo tasty, spicy, authentic. Had a lot of Chinese take always and NONE of them match up to this one!

I don't usually order anything else, as the other dishes are fine but average. But the Dang Dang Noodles here are amazing. Best around town. They make incredible handmade noodles (biang biang noodles). The handmade dumplings in chilli oil are also a must. Unfortunately this dish doesn't seem available in the takeaway menu during lockdown. Looking forward to its reopening!

After waiting over an hour for my delivery where the main was cold and a side was missing, I called them to see if I could get my side ASAP I was then spoken too terribly, told it would come later and the phone put down on me! And the the rest of the food is nothing to shout about.... Never ordering here again!!

I used to like this restaurant a lot, because the good food and decoration. But now the deceiving price and food makes me really hate it. If you order the stewed fish, they'll tell you it doesn't come with vegetables, and ask you to order vegetables, 3£ each. But then I always find out it does come with vegetables like potatoes and celery, and there is only a little amount of the vegetable that you ordered. The accompany stuff, tea, rice, are always charged in the most expensive way, either by person or by bowl. They could even tell you a fake price and then when the bill comes it's different, if you ask they'll say we waiters don't deal with prices. So in the end we two people paid 20£ each while only ordered one 19£ fish dish.

I'm Chinese, but I really hate Chinese people do business like this, really hate the dishonest behaviour.

Disgusting. I never leave negative reviews as I don't think restaurants deserve it most of the time, although I was particularly disgusted this time. We ate our spring rolls and dumplings which were nice. Then whilst the wait for our main courses our waitress started retching and then proceeded to throwing up in kitchen. Wow, pretty disgusting stuff! What really got me was the fact that she didn't stop serving and go home. She just kept going! Without stopping a beat as if this was completely normal. Then when I wanted to leave we were handed the bill and told we would have to have the bill rounded up to £15!!?? We paid it and left with other customers. Absolutely gross would never contemplate coming here again

Bland. Food had no flavour at all. I had special fried rice, prawn toast, spare ribs, pancake roles and won ton. I may as well have been eating fresh air. No seasoning or flavour at all. On the positive side this could mean that there was no MSG added to the meal but i doubt it. I got a home delivery which arrived on time but I would not order again.

Wuli wuli good!! For a 5* Chinese look no further. These guys really know how to serve up a taste sensation. For a non greasy flavoursome and reasonably priced take away this is your place. Excellent!!

Impression. Friendly and helpful service but the beef with black bean sauce and the starter platter for two was not up to Lamoons standards. We will stick with them.

Errm not remotely Sichuan!. I visited this restaurant after reading many positive reviews about their Sichuan food. The food, while tasty, was missing the most obvious ingredient of all - the Sichuan pepper. That familiar tingly, numbing spiciness of the food was totally absent. Itw as tasty but not authentic at all, and we know from being regulars at Soho's most popular Sichuan restaurants. Still, if you're tempted to give this place a go, the saliva chicken, fried aubergine with pork and green beans were the best things on the menu.

So last night we decided to go out for a house meal and went to Wuli Wuli, which is a Sichuan style Chinese restaurant. We had originally planned to go to a Greek restaurant that we’d never been too, and never thought of booking ahead since every time we pass, it is virtually empty. Little did we know, Saturday night in Camberwell turns into a thriving community and everyone ventures out from hiding and into the surrounding restaurants and pubs! When we arrived and said that we hadn’t booked, we were given a disapproving tut and said that we’d either have to eat fast or come back in over an hour since they were full. Not wanting to rush or wait a stone age, we decided to venture on and seek out another restaurant. We headed out the restaurant in a state of disbelief and couldn’t quite comprehend where all those diners had come from! After we’d gathered ourselves a little bit, we racked our brains to think of where we could visit. We walked along the main road with most of the restauran

Earlier this year we discovered Stormbird in Camberwell, south London. The combination of an extensive craft beer selection, local feel, and reasonable prices meant that we quickly became obsessed with this pub. On top of all that, there are some excellent restaurants nearby, like literally a hop away, that are perfect for soaking up all those pints. If, under inebriation, you're looking for something that will knock you in the face, go to Wuli Wuli for the Sichuan specialties like hot sizzling fish or mapo tofu. And to top if off, a wide range of chinese music, from folk to current, gently plays giving the restaurant an authentic feel. We shared a big bowl of stewed fish fillet. And no, I do not know what kind of fish it was, because it doesn't really matter when bathed in peppercorns, chilis, and chili oil. It's important to note that this was actually the small portion. What does the large look like?? This hit all the right notes of hot, spicy, and numbing, but was not te

There are exceptions however, when you imbibe something that sings to your tastebuds like Susan Boyle and has the misfortune to look similar... Wuli Wuli definitely falls into this category. I can't, even kind

We shouldn't have worried as much of the food we ate was very good. With Chinese/Cantonese staples in the front part of the menu, the interesting stuff lay behind what was simply labelled as "Chinese Style". The food behind this divide was more based around the Szechuan cuisine and contained interesting dishes of smashed cucumbers and other dishes containing the more "interesting" parts of the animal. I wanted to write it up back then but Lizzie and Helen had already covered everything I wanted to say and I sat back hoping that the empty seats would soon fill up.

The evenings are drawing in. As we approached Wuli Wuli at 7pm, it was proper dark and the black restaurant exterior was hardly visible. Perhaps that's why it was so empty. Or perhaps it's just that the place is new. Whatever, it really shouldn't be so. T

This will mean absolutely bugger all to you if you don't live in South East London, but for those who do, the excellent Sichuan place, Wuli Wuli in Camberwell now do takeaway and they deliver. Where the delivery boundaries lie I have no idea, but they delivered to us in Peckham Rye / East Dulwich borders. We called them while pissed on mulled cider shouting things like "something porky! Spicy! Oh and some tripe!" and they came good. 35 minutes later, smacked cucumbers, twice-cooked pork, an aubergine dish,
