We went after lunchtime so the restaurant was rather quiet, The highlight for me were the dragon green sushi rolls. Total perfection. Wasn’t too keen to the takoyaki texture it was more like mash potato than the chewy texture I’m used to. The service was great and overall was very happy with the food and service.

Andrea the owner puts so much heart into this place all the way down to the little details of e.g. the table decoration. Sushi garden has such a warm, inviting and welcoming atmosphere and I'm happy to see it keeps growing!

We have dinner in this local Japanese on last Friday.
The service is very good, they have kid’s menu with free drawings.
The food is amazing! We order dragon roll , mix tempura,Topical Ole’ Tartare, salmon maki, yakitori with rice and story fly udon.
The dragon roll is absolutely amazing, there are tempura king prawn and fresh salmon inside! It is so tasty! The rice to made the roll is soft and tender, I am sure they must use a good quality sushi rice. The mix tempura is fantastic as well , the coating is thin and crispy, the kids love it! The tartare is great too, it is a new way to combine topical fruit with salmon, it is delicious and refreshing. The udon and teriyaki chicken are tasty as well.
For desert, we order Matcha Tiramisu, cheesecake and chocolate mousse
The cheesecake is amazing , this is definitely the best cheesecake I ever had,I love the taste of yuzu, it is full of flavors.The Tiramisu and chocolate mousse are yummy as well.
The staff are friendly and helpful. They have good knowledge about their foods.
We have a very good dining experience in there !
Really lovely staff! Beautiful little restaurant and great vibe. The food was tasty, but I wasn’t too impressed with the Agedashi tofu dish the batter was a little bit under cooked and the tofu was hard rather than silky. Will go here again 100% the California hot roll was amazing and the fried rice was 💋👌🏻 chefs kiss, the seaweed salad was addictive! Yum 🤤
Sushi Garden is such an amazing restaurant - right in the heart of forest hill! The staff is so attentive and the food is delicious. The ingredients (especially the raw fish and veggies) are so fresh!! Make sure to book in advance as they're usually quite busy :) We will definitely be back!

The staff were so friendly and the atmosphere was relaxed and enjoyable. Given that Sushi is usually quite expensive, I felt that we got good value for money. It is fast becoming my favourite restaurant in London
Great place for dates with very friendly staff. For 2 people, we ordered a sushi roll, a starter, and a sparkling water and the total came to £38. It's a good spot to spoil yourself and your date!

I didn’t personally choose anything vegan/vegetarian, however the menu had loads to cater for this if you are.
Great place locally. Had a lovely meal with family and friends. Wide selection with options for fish fans and non fish fans. Food was good, prepared thoughtfully. Worth booking, even mid week.
