Excellent food quality and service. The curry chef deserves special recognition, as he is even willing to take off-menu requests, in my case a Phall curry cooked to perfection. Perfect heat with an explosion of flavour. Other phalls tend to sacrifice flavour, in my experience. The level of service and food quality is comparable to some of the best Indian restaurants in Brick Lane, in my opinion. Only negative would be insufficient advertising. I had lived nearby for one year without realising this Royal Rooster shop also did top-notch curries. If you're ever in Woolwich craving a curry, look no further.
