I’ve been coming to this place for decades as it is something of an institution with crazy opening hours. Something like 11am to 4am if I recall correctly. What you get here is inexpensive and unpretentious Cantonese food. It’s not the best but I know what I’m getting for the £8 or so when I order the wonton and roast duck soup noodles or the beef and black bean sauce ho fun. I read an article that this place had closed permanently due to Covid and impossible rents. I hope permanent closure isn’t the case as this would be a huge loss for China Town.
We came here after midnight for a late dinner. We had the crispy duck with pancakes, but were even more blown away by the black bean broad noodles. Deliciously slippery and sweet-savory. Service feels a bit rushed as they have many diners and many staff to coordinate even at late hours, but food is well worth it.
I had a simple dish, steamed rice and "char siu" pork meat. It was really good and not expensive. The service was also good. I noticed most of the customers in the restaurant were Chinese people which is a good sign :)

This is malaysian ho fun noodles! Food still taste good here but can do with abit more meat in my ho fun!

Roast duck on crispy noodles excellent! Could of had 2 plates.... very tasty and very crispy noodles and very well presented!
Only let down is the service. Very miserable waiters. Never mind, definitely be back for the food.
Its always funny when people walk in here and expect a certain level of service . its just quick and easy, they take your order and give you your food, fine by me and the food is always decent
If you are hungry I recommend this Chinese restaurant open till late.
It's always Hungs for roast duck noodles for us when we hit Chinatown. They do decent roasts. Service is fast and efficient. Seating can be cramped

Ok place. They must have improved their service since the previous reviews. Food was ok. Fast and good variety of dishes. Not expensive and be ready to pay in cash.
After most of the good places have closed down in Chinatown (Hollywood Diner, Young Cheng, Mayflower) this is my go to place for a while now, they open till late as well! Good place on your own or with friends!

Nice flavour and very affordable price.
The service is fast and, typically if the local Chinese restaurants, stoic. The food is tasty and hot. We had roast duck noodle broth with pickled vegetables which was fantastic. The sweet and sour pork ribs, which were small nuggets of rib fried in batter and served with crunchy vegetables. It was okay, too sweet for me. The sweet and sour fried prawns were okay. Again, too sweet for me. The grilled pork dumplings were tasty. We had Chinese tea to drink which was refreshing. Sadly we were sat right next to a very loud group, but the whole environment is very informal so that's to be expected. Especially on a Saturday night. This restaurant is open late, which I really like. I'll be back
Nice and quaint little eat-out. The food was served fresh and was a good portion size. More than enough to share among 2 to 3 people. I liked the crispy roast duck as well as the stir fried vegetables very much.
Great authentic Chinese food- dont count on service
A good value meal (£41 for 2x set menu's + drinks). Food all freshly cooked, tasty and fine, but nothing special. In what we had Restaurant is over several floors, narrow stairs to get to the upper floors. Service was quick to take orders and serve food (unlike other diners reports), but did take a little while to get the final bill. All in all quite a respectable place, no complaints
