The Famous Royal Oak - London - Photo album

Superb pub, friendly staff and good priced quality beer. Always a pleasure to visit, just wish that I lived closer! Nice to see the polished brass.
Down to earth local with a rich history. Not your modern day gastro pub, more of a traditional boozer with pool table, great guiness and comfy boots and tables. Have not eaten there, just go for the Guiness and chat.
Fabulous, traditional, local pub. I love the place. If you don't like an old-fashioned wood panelled local boozer, you won't like this place. Happily I'm an old fogey πŸ˜€πŸ»πŸΊ
Been coming here on and off for 6 years. Very consistent service and always feels welcoming, prices are great for an independent pub
The Famous Royal Oak is a treasure. The wonderful and friendly staff provide a welcoming safe environment for all. Drink selections adound and it's clean and well cared for.
Nice pub with TV for the sports, also one of the few places I have seen with bass on
Fantastic Pub! A welcome change from the posh spots around the area. Beautiful classic interior, chilled out, nice staff, proper Covid safe... A spot for the locals. Its a hidden gem. Outdoor area too... if we ever get covid free I'm popping down for a game of pool 🎱
Good Adnams ale, very pleasant sitting in the sun outside. Did a barbecue on Saturday lunchtime, looked good but didn't have it.
Corned beef roll and a pint of bass with a lovely landlady??? Surely you can’t get that anywhere these days
Thoroughly decent pub with plenty of character. Polite bar staff, olde worlde decor, lager tasted fine and considering its in "that London", the price wasn't too extortionate. Always visit when in town for the snooker and will be back next year.
A fantastic pub which is at the heart of the local community. The oak has a brilliant landlady and excellent staff. Nice Guinness, sport on the TV, a great Sunday roast, a fun Thursday night pub quiz and most importantly always a warm welcome.
A proper pub with proper guests. Loved it!
Loved this pub, proper locals hangout.
Cozy and classic British pub vibes Also has a pool table
Really nice place. We only stayed for drinks but they have a lovely outdoor area, good selection of ales and the pub itself is really nice and modern inside.
Good pub for sports, friendly staff, good beer and a great roast on sundays
Great spot, traditional English pub vibe with lots of wood, carpets and low ceilings. Staff is lovely as well and they do a cracking Sunday roast! They show football, there is a garden, a pool table and a juke box.
We went into this Pub on Boxing Day evening and it was absolutely lovely. A proper old boozer which is hard to come by in this day and age when we are surrounded by chains. The landlady and the bar staff were charming and chatty and I would full recommend paying a visit to this pub if the opportu
