This place is no longer a food take away and is now a lovely plant shop 😍🌿 I'm sure it must have been a great food place before, but I love the fact that they're now filled will all kinds of plants from top to bottom. They have such a big variety of plants and have also guaranteed that if they are missing a plant, send them a picture, and they will stock it for you. Amazing. Their ceramic pots are lovely too. Everything is well priced. If you're a plant lover, then I can't recommend this shop enough!

This place is fantastic. First of all I would just like to point out that I never leave reviews. Ever. That I have decided to do so on this occasion should stand as a testament to how much I enjoyed the whole experience of buying and eating this food. I wish I knew the name of the owner as I would like to specifically mention how kind, generous and welcoming he was to my girlfriend and I this evening. He took the time to discuss each of the curries and even let us sample them. They were all uniquely flavoursome and far removed from a run of the mill Indian take away. We went for two dishes, we bought four. Plenty for two nights. Do not hesitate to try this place, having lived nearby for a while and having sampled the available Indian restaurants, I can safely say you will not find higher quality, authentic food anywhere else near by - and when I say nearby I mean you would probably need to go to Delhi to get close. We stumbled across this place because they also sell a lovely selection of very reasonably priced plants and we left with twice as many of those well! Quite a sight on the bus ride home. It is safe to say this place is an absolute find. Pop in for a Samosa or a cactus, or perhaps both.

Delicious food for great prices. We have been loyal customers of Delhi Bites since it opened shop in streatham a few years back and have always enjoyed the food. The butter chicken is our favourite. Also used their catering for a lot of family occasions for last few years and our guests have always left happy. Just recently I got some samosas for parents coming to my sons birthday party and they all loved it! Keep up the good work.

One of my favorite places. Great value and tasty, healthy, big portions. Big vegetarian selection. Delicious paneer, dahl and veggies. The okra is fantastic and they make great naan and chapati to go with it. It’s the best value and I love visiting the shop and chatting with them. Often, they do something extra out of kindness and I really appreciate that. If you’re in Streatham, you should go regularly.

Best Indian Take-Away Place - highly recommend! The food is sooo yummy, the portions are huge (A £5 Box lasts me for two meals!) and the owners are always smiley and in a good mood. They also let you mix and match different dishes and are in general super accommodating to all your wishes. It's a family business and they serve real home-cooked food with a burst of flavour and charm - and that's what I value :) Check it out!

Arguably the best tasting Indian takeaway food in the whole of Streatham. I'm not going to lie, Delhi Bites does not have the most reassuring of appearances when you walk in, but if you can put that aside and go beyond that, then you will not be disappointed by the food. These guys CAN COOK! I don't know where they get their ingredients from but it's surely not the rubbish you get in supermarkets. If you're not South Asian and want proper Indian food, Delhi Bites is the only place you'll get it.

Amazing flavors, moderate prices and a very friendly atmosphere. I've been coming here since they opened. I always get a warm welcome and a decent meal. Far the best value for money Indian in the Streatham area. Stuff knows a lot about food and flavors, often recommends new dishes with taster bites.

Best curry in Streatham. It’s a take away only, and the interior may be off putting, but don’t knock it till you’ve tried it! Their ever changing menu simply focuses on a few styles of curry and side dishes therefore what you see in their counter, is what is fresh. Even their mild curries still have amazing flavour- as a person who can’t tolerate high levels of chilli, I am so thankful for this place!

The best freshly cooked curry in Streatham hands down. From the outside it looks a bit rough and ready and I must admit to walking past it a few times before venturing inside. However, the food is outstanding. If you are looking for table service and linen napkins this isn't the place for you. What you do get is authentic curry cooked from scratch. Would highly recommend the lamb wrap. The wrap is made from fresh dough and cooked while you wait, the lamb is cooked in sauce and is fantastically tender. At only a fiver much better value than the other kebab houses in the local area. Delivery is quick and efficient and can honestly say I have not been disappointed with anything I have ordered. The owner is a true gent and and will happily talk through the dishes and let you try a taster. On top of that he sells Christmas trees in the festive season and I have bought from him twice and they look fantastic and are great value for money. Curry and Christmas tree sorted- give it a go, you'll be glad you did.
