Jamies - St Mary At Hill

Great pub/bar with the loveliest team!! Jamies were able to help us on an amazing event for 60 people with only 5 days notice, after another venue let us down. Luke in particular went above and beyond to make sure the night was a success, and even set up the AV equipment that we hired before we arrived. The whole team were super helpful and I hope we get to host more events here in future and recommend to everyone! Thank you so much!!!

We held our team day here earlier this month. The space in the room we had was a good size for our party of 11 people. The hospitality from the staff was excellent. They supplied tea/coffee throughout the day. The feed back from the brunch we had was amazing. The evening meal was also good but but there was a limited choice also some of our party wanted steaks but there wasn't enough left. The only downside was that the room we had was just off the restaurant and was divided by a curtain which didn't close properly and there was a large table put the other side of the curtain so the noise carried through. The restaurant wasn't full so perhaps they could have been seated elsewhere. Other than that everything was great and we would definitely use this venue again.

Favourite place in the city now. Little spoilt by people going to a black tie event but they left after a while. They sell one of my favourite wines which is a bonus. Staff are great and they do table service. Clean and comfortable environment. This will be our go to place. Great company last night with work colleagues lots of laughs so a fab place to spend time with friends.

We had a really fabulous lunch at the newly refurbished Jamie's St Mary at Hill bar! Myself and three friends started with some truly delicious bar snacks... calamari, padron peppers, mozzarella & pesto arancini with a tomato and basil sauce, garlic and parsley prawns (£20 for a choice of 4... very reasonably priced for the generous servings) and some chunky chips. The fish finger toasted brioche sandwich I had to follow, was also mouth-wateringly good!! My friends had burgers and a chargrilled ribeye steak ciabatta and also raved!! We had a NZ Sauvignon Blanc from the extensive wine list... you really are spoilt for choice here!! The new surroundings are very comfortable with a really cool and stylish ambience! My final glowing review will end with a comment about the totally charming staff... they were incredibly helpful and knowledgable about the food and wine they were serving. All in all a really special experience... we will definitely be back!!!
