This is a beautiful boozer. 4.75 stars. Would be the full five if they sold scampi fries and scratchings. A traditional pub, deceptively large. A beautiful real wood (and coal) fireplace, the likes of which you very rarely see east or north. Great beer selection and a proper Guinness, with authent
Spent a wonderful time in the hotel! Had the Suite and the deluxe room - they were super clean and well propped. The owner and the staff were really lovely 😍 also the location was convenient and lively. The pub downstairs as well as the rooftop and breakfast was topnotch. Would come any day again. 5

Ian and the whole team at the Rose & Crown were friendly and accommodating and made our post-wedding drinks a real evening to remember. The pub is such a lovely space, and it was the perfect place to bring our guests for some food and (more) drinks after getting married at nearby Clissold House.

The food was so good and staff were really friendly and attentive. Don’t have a bad word to say about the place.
Popped in for lunch and drinks with friends, the food was great, the staff was friendly and helpful, and we had a lovely time.
Nice, spacious and dog friendly. They offer water bowls to your furry friends and are most welcoming
