I know the Ivy is now a chain. And gone are the slightly intimidating but very knowledgeable waiters. The Ivy is now a competent upper/ mid market restaurant chain with a post WWI design glamour (and some quirky Asian fusion offshoots) that's warm, and ever so indulgent. The food ranges from comfort
