Munch

A wonderful evening. Friendly, efficient staff and wonderful food. The menu is well thought out with a great balance of textures and flavours and a good variety of choices. The Munch Bunch was the star of the evening for this cocktail lover. It was worth leaving the house for on a miserable, wet evening in February. I shall certainly be returning for many more!

An almost brand new vegan / vegetarian restaurant. A definite gap in the market so we were intrigued to visit and hoped it would offer us a change from the standard options of Greek, Turkish and Italian that tends to dominate around here. In the main they delivered and I'd definitely go back for more. Absolutely lovely people who went out of their way to make sure we were happy. They're still tweaking and refining the offering but any shortfalls were made up for by their friendliness and willingness to listen to feedback. The decor was bland but he told us art was due the next day, so we look forward to a warmer more homely vibe next time. The food was in the main very nice. Hiccup on the main course, the noodle soup, but this was swiftly rectified and wound up being my favourite choice. Very tasty and nutritious. The starters were a little more mixed in my opinion. Nice. They grew on me. But they didn't blow me away. Oh and they make everything themselves which is a real plus. The sourdough bread that came with the starter was really delicious. So all in all I'd say very nice, will definitely go back, and look forward to seeing how they develop the offering.

Great contemporary restaurant, love the minimalist decor, the loos are brilliant! There's something for all occasions on the menu - sharing smaller dishes, main courses, tasty cocktails, and now they open for breakfast too on a Sunday. Scrambled eggs and a Bloody Mary, yum! Looking forward to watching this new restaurant develop over time.
