Best bread I’ve ever eaten and an awesome place for a surprisingly inexpensive quality breakfast or long slow coffee-and-cake session. Very baby friendly too.

First try this morning. By far the best bread of E8...nothing much more to say.

Great bread, pending towards the Scandinavian varieties, excellent rye. The service is great, even when you arrive before the opening time of 6am. The space is bare-bones, but you can always get a coffee and some breakfast, if you would like to smell the amazing bread aromas for a while longer. Open bakery, great way to see the whole process.

Great range of top quality baked goods and food - bread, pastries, salads, brunch, packaged deli items. My favourite has to be the pastries like the cheese and tomato croissant plus the fresh loaves of bread and the custom slicing machine which keeps me coming back.

Loved everything about it. Great service, cheap prices for London and super high quality! Will be back next time!

This place is a gem! The pastry selection is fantastic for both sweet and savory options. I came over at 7:30 on a weekday and got a hazelnut pain au chocolate which was still warm from the oven. The pastry was insanely flaky and the filling was very generous but not overly sweet and perfectly balanced. It’s a good one to share though as the size is quite big. There’s a lovely covered sitting area as well to enjoy your meal. This place deserves more hype, I’m surprised it’s not all over Instagram!

Great pastries and service Big selection of fresh baked goods. Sourdough bread is 👌 It has a nice terrace for eating or drinking your coffee. They also do lunch specials, and have juices. Be aware they only take cards (due to covid) I’ll Be back I’m always back’ One really good breakfast pastry is the bacon Danish roll that also has some chili jam inside Try or, good for kids as well, very friendly and on a quiet street

This is my favorite baker/cafe in the Hackney/London Field area. Coffee is strong (Climpson's&Son coffee bean), croissants are buttery and flaky, the baguette was perfectly crisp and gently chewy. They made me a believer in pastry, even for a carb-phobic :p. Very friendly and helpful folks working here. Cherry on top, it is a bit off the hustle bustle off Broadway Market, with a nice front yard for sitting down. Soft jazz rather than pop playing in the background. Perfect for conversation, book reading or taking a break from work!

**EDIT*** The management reached out to me, which I think says a lot about how much they value their customers opinion! I went back to try the salmon breakfast sandwich and this time around enjoyed it quite a bit more! The bread was soft and it tasted fresher. Also got a cardamom roll which was reallllly nice. Coffee was a big improvement as well:) I’m glad they reached out and I’ll definitely be back! Thank you Esther and staff! Original: The girl at the front was pretty rude. The sandwich I got (mushroom and egg) tasted old, stale, and cold. Honestly did not feel worth the money. Coffee was not very hot and milk wasn’t steamed well…..No wifi

Friendly service, great coffee and cardamom buns. Also, worth noting, they have a bread slicer on site!

The Bread Station is a Michelin-driven Danish bakery you should stop by if you’re in the area. The pastries are taken with a fancy twist, the bread loafs are impressive in proportion. My oat latte was good but not extraordinary. A few things to say about the avocado toasts: the egg yolk was the reddest I have ever had which I believe is a good sign and the avocado was tasty. However, the sourdough bread was too toasted to cut with a knife without having them slip out the plate. I would have loved a bit more dressing on top: a drizzle of olive oil and pepper. Will come back to try the poppy seed roll.

I wanted some fresh bread and found this on google. This is definitely a lovely store if you want some nicely fresh baked bread. The location is so close to London fields itself, you can easily get a coffee and go the field itself to sit and relax during summer. The store has some lovely selection of homemade breads and also other local produced products. I would definitely come back again for more freshly baked bread in the future.

Colorful, great staff, quiet area and tasty home made food. You can also relax sitting outdoors, customers are nice people. The food quality is the best, they make their own ingredients and you can feel the passion for their work on every delicious bite. Definitely, a wonderful and charming place to come everyday.
