My friend and I came to this restaurant for dinner because we were looking for a typical and good quality of indian cuisine. We had the recommandation from our hotel and indeed it is delicious!🤩 We enjoyed so much the curry and the cheese naan. The service was quick and friendly; highly appreciated for both of us. As I am used to eat indian food in Paris, I was scared to be disappointed but it was a good surprise! Don't hesitate to give it a try 😊 We will definitely come back here.
We were a table of 14 and food was amazing and the service was fabulous the staff were really nice and super helpful.
The food all arrived on time and was so tasty
So, the food was good but I got one of the hottest things on the menu and it wasn't that hot actually, for me. My elderly parents couldn't get what they wanted without it being a bit too spicy for them though.
The best thing was they had an inhouse beer but it was especially low on alcohol, under 4 even. Our waiter was quite attentive for a while but then seemed to have gone home before bringing the bill. It was weird.

Excellent quality Indian cuisine let down massively by appalling and poor customer service.
We had booked a table for lunch for a group of 10 and when we arrived for lunch at 12:30, the restaurant was empty with no tables occupied and then the staff took a good 5 mins to arrange the tables. Provided 2 course menu's to our guests and when we started the 1st order, the waitress took the order and disappeared for 5 minutes. They came back mentioning that they have incorrectly given wrong menu's and took away the menu's and gave another set of menu's (Only set course menu's available at lunch we were told - but the menu's had a lot of good options). Meanwhile the cutleries were arranged for half the guests and the waiters and waitresses disappeared and forgot about arranging for the rest of the group.
We had asked whether they have freshly squeezed orange juices, they replied they will check and they served us juices from the carton and the waiter / waitresses claimed they were fresh (Staff need training on communication and the definition of freshly squeezed - not pouring from a freshly opened carton)
Our impression of the restaurant was lost by now - but only until the food arrived. The portions were the right size and were flavourful and delicious. We tried almost everything on the menu and every item was excellent. Our top favourites were the Red ruby chicken, Amristari fish and onion bhaji's. Once the order was placed, the wait wasn't too bad but to get to that stage it took forever.
Would we visit again - Probably no, mainly because of the service. But the quality of the food for the price is top notch. Hope the management are able to support the wonderful chef with some properly trained staff
My partner and I were looking to try a new Indian curry place and came across the recently renovated Poppodam. The food and the service was amazing, we had starters, main and a dessert. I would absolutely go for a date night. The lamb rogan was fantastic and the star of the night were the rose dumpling balls with vanilla ice cream. There's also a bowling place round the corner so, if you're looking for a great date night, end it here!

Great place to have dinner with friends and family. We took the set menu and were very pleased. It is as authentic Indian as it can get in London
I was invited for a business lunch at the Poppadom Indian Kitchen and have come away pleasantly surprised by the quality of the food. So much so that I'm thinking of going back with family. The creativity of the food by chef Yogesh (he shares the same name as me!) is amazing. The flavours are delicately balanced and it's clear each of the dishes are expertly put together. As a vegetarian it's always difficult to find something different to try. I thought the beetroot tiki was a nice touch, something you never see for something so simple. The naan bread was so fluffy and yet so crispy. The ice cream was homemade like gelato and took me back to the street vendors selling kulfi on the streets of Delhi. It's well worth a visit. I'll be going back for sure.
My father celebrated his 75 years old...what a great birthday he lived....a tasty kitchen and French wines🥂
From the starter to the dessert....we loved all the dishes proposed.
The waiters and the manager are welcoming and helpful.
Not the biggest menu, but it covers the bases and the food was delicious, loved those gunpowder spice potatoes. Place build to take a lot of people from the big nearby hotels, so not that intimate or cosy, but friendly staff.
