Umana Yana - London - Photo album

Tidy little local place with a good short menu. Decent value with a plate of food around £12 and ok options for veg and meat. The hot sauce is absolutely amazing. If it was slightly cheaper I’d probably bring some home. Outside seating.
A great little family run roti shop near Brockwell park. The curries are flavourful with tender meat. One of the best examples of roti in London. Pricing is very reasonable. Definitely worth a trip to support this business.
I’ve had the curry goat rotis from Umana Yana a few times and each time it is delicious . The portion size fills you up perfectly and what I love the most is the amount of goat meat you get!! Many places I’ve been too hold back on how much meat they give but at Umana Yana , they really fill the roti
Delicious. We are regulars now and it's always very good. Friendly service - the lady is really lovely. Loads of meat in the roti's and no bone. Generous portions. The juices are really good too. Highly recommended.
Amazing Caribbean food from good people with good vibes and a warm heart . Amazingly delicious . First time having a prawn patty . Was awesome
Such tasty food and the lady who runs it is absolutely lovely. Get a pot of the pepper sauce, it's very tasty and very spicy.
Very tasty food. Only disappointment was that they had run out of roti when I specifically went there for it! But I ordered the chana, potato and spinach with rice and peas which was lovely. They even had tables and chairs outside so I could enjoy my meal comfortably 😌
Delicious patties and roti at really reasonable price. Recommend trying the swank!
Super friendly owners, I love popping in for a patty or a full curry and roti. Everything is fresh and homemade and the patties and juices are always delicious! Highly recommend to everyone 🎉🎉
I have only ever had the patties here but they are amazing (best I have ever had), quite expensive compared to other stores but worth it, fresh/homemade, much better than what you get in most Jamaican/Jerk shops. They tend to sell out of flavours quick so go early.
Love love love the roti here! And you always get served with a smile.
The food is healthy and delicious, it’s my go-to takeaway and I enjoy it every time. The opening times and availability can be a bit sporadic so don’t set you heart on it because I came down 3 weeks in a row and it was closed but maybe they were on holiday. The roti are raved about in reviews but I
Delicious Guyanese food and lovely owners! The food is reasonably priced with vegetarian options available (the veggie patties are delish!). Umana Yana are both at their permanent retail site on Croxted Rd (next to Brockwell Park) and can be found at the Herne Hill Sunday Market.
This place is incredible! I actually can't stop going here. Eventually going to make my way around all the types of roti they do. The lady that works here is so lovely too - super friendly and cheerful. Would definitely recommend!
Delicious food, especially curry goat and rice and peas. Owners are so warm and friendly.
I definitely recommend picking food up in person because the family who run this place are so warm and kind. I swear that gets transferred to the rotis somehow - I've had a couple of rotis from here and each one feels like a lovely spicy hug in my stomach. All slow cooked and beautifully spiced to y
Tried an aubergine roti in Herne Hill Market a few months ago and I'm sill thinking about it! Highly recommend!
