Anerley Arms - London - Photo album

Can’t believe I’ve lived nearby for so long without coming to this gem. Such a cosy, olde vibe, great beer, sensational prices. We got two pints for £7.40! Sam Smith’s pubs are always a treat. Only thing I’d ask - would be great if they’d offer veggie Sunday roast!
Great local pub, friendly staff and regulars. Good range of reasonably priced beers. Big garden out the back a few tables out the front. Plenty of seating inside. Didn't have the food.
Quiet, classic Samuel Smith Pub. Nice staff and interesting local clientele. If your soul is in sorrow, have a pint. Great traditional pub if you fancy a digital detox (no phones or laptop).
Vintage vibe — mobile phones not allowed! I really liked this traditional pub and will definitely be back. I do have a few suggestions for the management (others may disagree). I personally like the "no mobiles" rule that they have, but I think they could do it in a more tasteful manner. For example
Lovely, friendly, local boozer. Pool and darts available. Quieter Saturday evening. V nice pint and wine. Thank you!
Stopped by for a few pints and a meal after a lengthy walk from the Horniman museum via Crystal Palace Park. Lovely neighbourhood feel and top notch staff. Will visit again if I happen to be in the area.
Such a lovely pub! No screens - come for darts and pool and real people actually talking to each other
Nice Sam Smith's pub, great pint prices, friendly staff
Good Sunday lunch. Reasonably priced beers. Service, excellent. Nice old traditional pub, no music, friendly customers and staff. Lovely place to go for a nice quiet drink.
Fantastic Sunday roast beef lunch, and a glass of chocolate stout to finish the meal.
Good old-fashioned pub with perfectly acceptable food and Sam Smith's beer all at good prices. Typical working class South London clientele are .... what they are.
Welcomed so warmly today with my kids, what a lovely pub. Excellent beer, superb building but the friendly welcome the best of all. Will be back.
We went last night and played a few games of Pool. It’s a beautiful pub, pool table (very unusual these days), dart board, board games and reasonably priced drinks. They do food now too so we are going back for Sunday lunch next weekend.
We used to live right near it so we would go regularly because I could feed the kids for a fiver. The landlord at the time was exceptionally friendly and nice especially once they warmed to you. The landlord has moved on now though. I don't know what it's like now but it used to be an excellent loca
It's our favourite local, great local, great staff, fantastic deal on a Sunday lunch starting at £10. And great prices on for a pint at £3.40, it's hard to get us to leave
Lovely friendly pub with fantastic food, Ian makes everyone feel very welcome. Recommended!
Great local Sam Smith's pub. Often nice and quiet but at times it fills up with a friendly crowd of interesting characters. Lovely staff.
There was no food however, that was due to the fact that they re- opened 9 weeks ago. Also Sir Arthur conan Doyle used to go there and write the cases of Sherlock Holmes and Doctor Watson. There is pool and darts, drinks are good, they have peanuts and pork scratching. Brilliant. Go in July though w
The pub is amazing and it has so much history concerning Arthur Conan Doyle and his great detective Sherlock Holmes. Great decor and immaculately clean due to the present times. Don the manager was a great host and the Bar lady was attentive and polite. Luke the barman was polite and friendly, woul
