Here is a place that is so much fun, and also packed with friendly, genuine, down-to-Earth vibes. Enjoy the generous space along the canal - where you can sip a drink and watch the Narrow Boats go by. Pop-up creative events are happening all the time for music, art, poetry and sometimes activities for kids. Look out for the DIY Art Market to find affordable treasures made by local artisans, and there’s always fantastic tunes spinning out of the DJ area. This is a place that supports and represents the community in the most positive way, Grow is so much more than a venue - it’s an anchor for creativity in Hackney. I love this place! Go!

The place is amazing, the music and the drinks too! The terrace on the river is perfect for a chilling afternoon especially on wednesday the live jazz sessions. I personally love the cheeseburger and the sweet potatos but there are a lot of really good plates avaliable! It's a must visit place in hackney!

Grow is one of the coolest places to hang out in Hackney and I’ve been going there for years! They always have great music and a really nice staff. It was a surprise to find out they are also doing Sunday Roasts now, and it was delicious. There was plenty of vegan and vegetarian options. I had a sweet potato roast which was a great portion size and amazing taste. Definitely recommend!

The food is really good. The flavors are a mix of british and Middle Eastern dishes. Brunch every day until 14:30. To order, you can use the QR code on the table and pay directly there or in person at the bar. The staff is really friendly and helpful and the location on the river with plenty of shade. Great to go with friends, a special someone, and to go and work/study.

We came here for the live music over the weekend. The music was good, wonderful setting by the river. It gets crowded as the day progresses. Skip the food because the spinach and egg wrap was tasteless. There are two self-service bars. I do recommend booking ahead for the outdoor tables. It's a short walk from the tube station.

Came here for a friend's birthday last weekend. Had a chicken roast which was fantastic! We were a large group to deal with and staff were really friendly and attentive to any needs. Music was great too, during the day it set a lovely tone and got more lively into the evening. Definitely will be returning soon!

Lovely pub by the canal. There was a good selection of drinks but the service was a bit slow down at the bar when it wasn’t even that busy. The fries were also quite expensive for its portion - so we didn’t end up getting any!

Bar tenders were very friendly from long experience. Indoor and outdoor space was good, and joint-canal stream is a very lovely and satisfying addition, aside train bridge. Overall, a good environment for parties and sustainability is clear.

Super place by the canal in east London. Great food options for vegans and vegetarians as well as meat eaters. Really worth a visit. Great staff!

I went this Sunday for one of my friends birthday, we all had a Sunday roast which was brilliant, the chicken was moist and that cauliflower cheese was outstanding. Overall atmosphere was fantastic! Food was great, super friendly staff and some lovely cocktails. My phone was in my hand non stop from having to use Shazam, the dj was playing some bangers and occasionally accompanied by some live bongos outside! It really made my mates birthday special and I will be returning again for one of those tasty roasts!

Great venue by the river with a good beer selection and delicious food with many options to choose from. We had a great time and the atmosphere and vibe was unique and pleasant. There are beats in the background that add to the experience and there's also the option to dance downstairs for anyone interested
