Excellently priced grilled cheese place that has delicious rich sandwiches served hot and fresh. Don’t discount the pickles - they’re genuinely juicy and tasty as well. Staff are very pleasant and the atmosphere is cosy. Perfect midday snack for me.
Good overall experience. I stopped by for a takeaway ham hock grilles cheese sandwich. Outside was crispy, cheese was nicely melted but not molten and the ham had a good flavour.
Staff were enthusiastic and friendly, but still working out the kinks from their first week.
Real cheese. Real bread. Together. Toasted. Washed down with a cleansing ale. The historically best cold weather snack done to perfection can be found here. If you’re in London centre and hungry/thirsty then this place is a top recommendation!
Truffle fries were the best fries I've ever tried. And chicken fillet (I forgot the name of this dish) was delicious. It was just 2-3 min from Gielgud theatre. But make sure to come right after the show as it may get busy or the kitchen may close around 10-10.30 pm (as it usually happens in UK).
Do one thing and do it well. The best toasted cheese sandwich in town. Possibly the world. Great value too.
Was looking for a place to eat in Soho and this place looked very inviting. Cool atmosphere and comfortable seating - the staff were super friendly too.
Food was absolutely delicious - best I’ve had in a while. I had the spanish hog-dog and it was cooked to perfection and so tasty, I also had the pil pil fries which had an amazing seasoning. My friend got the black truffle wing-dog which I had a bite of and I’m telling you , it was so good !
I can’t recommend this place enough - everything on the menu looked appetising and the staff are nice and the restaurant itself is stylish and enjoyable to be in.
Loved it. It's the attention to detail that sets Pickle & Toast apart. High quality sourdough, good, full-flavoured cheese mix and interesting additions that seem to be chosen for the way they enhance the grilled cheese, not just because they're excepted or trendy. The tuna & olive and fennel sausage were both superb sarnies and the baked truffle fries is a really nice touch. Can you open one in Bristol now please? The decor should also be praised. It's a tight space, but a very homely and surprisingly luxurious one. I really hope this business is around for a while. A relaxed space with a good atmosphere right in the centre of town serving excellent food at really good value prices? That's extra impressive in 2018!
From the food to the atmosphere to the employees, this place was fantastic! Found P&T while on a layover in London. The owner was a super nice guy. The barista Adam made some stellar grilled cheese and a coffee that my wife is still talking about.
They are open from early morning to late night so there’s no reason not to give them a try if ever in Soho.
We absolutely loved this place and the people who run it. We went twice during our week long stay in London. The sour dough bread is so good. Truffle Fries! Breakfast sandwich option too. When a grilled cheese is all you need GO TO PICKLE AND TOAST
Wonderful atmosphere, Wonderful staff, AMAZING food! That Parmesan and Truffle knocked me over it was so good! Definitely coming again the moment I get a chance!!
