Amazing Place. Had a few lovely brunch meetings here and was very impressed by the good service and impeccable quality of fresh ingredients they use on their dishes. Very icy recommend the pancakes and the Korean pork belly fries 👌🏼

Before you go on, I must warn you: this post contains A LOT of food porn. Not that it's ever a bad thing, just you might want to have a slice of toast before reading this one because I promise it'll make you hungry. Here's just a little taster of what you're in for. See, I did warn you! Just don't blame me - blame Ben at Ben's Canteen because he's created two incredible new specials which I'm SO excited to share with you!

A cafe with the same name as me. Already, onto a winner. Let's not mention a great little venue, excellent decor, a lovely ambience, staff that can't do enough for you and the food; wow ... a breakfast burrito with turbo awesome hash browns, swilled down with a cranberry smoothie. It's what Sunday mornings are made for. I'd recommend this place to anyone.

A group of us did the bottomless brunch here on a saturday which is £20 for unlimited proscecco and a main dish.

Great value!

The staff here were much better then the staff in Ben's on St Johns Hill!

They were constantly coming over to make sure we were ok and topping up our glasses without us ever having to ask! Big glasses too!

I ordered the pork joint with cauliflower mash. It was so yummy!

Just a lovely atmosphere and a great activity to do with friends on a saturday afternoon!

Haven't experienced staff this friendly and welcoming since ive moved to London!

Great place and manager is lovely!

When we arrived, there was limited seating available as they had a private function in the back, but we managed to get the last public table. The décor is very shabby-chic, with worn tables, plenty of exposed wood and an AMAZING winged heart mirror feature piece on the wall. The cocktail menu was really interesting, and in the end I went for The Geisha, a mixture of Boodles Gin, Elderflower Liqueur, rose syrup and sparkling wine, decorated with rose petals. It's definitely the perfect summer cocktail - refreshing and light, and not too boozy-tasting.

The Ben's Canteen menu keeps it simple, with just three great choices on the burger section of the menu. I chose the Posh Fried Chicken Burger - which I can honestly say is one of the best chicken burgers I've ever had, if not THE best! The soft chicken breast is fried in a spiced buttermilk coating, served in a bun with bacon and red cabbage slaw. Fries come with the burger and you can choose between normal and sweet potato - obviously, I went for the latter as sweet potato fries are one of my biggest food-based weaknesses. These ones didn't disappoint, fried to perfection and I loved that they leave the skin on for a bit of added texture to a veg that's normally pretty soft.

After wolfing down our burgers and drooling over the lovely cake display, we decided to grab a dessert to share and chose one of their raspberry macaroons. They were definitely big enough to share between two, and really tasty - plenty of coconut and a rich raspberry filling. Overall, our bill came to around £60 for the two of us (two burger meals, a dessert to share, two cocktails, a glass of wine and a beer), which is very reasonable for eating out in London, especially with cocktails.

I really enjoyed my visit to Ben's Canteen - the food is fantastic, the chilled vibe is great for a casual date/catch up with friends, and the ambience is welcoming and lovely.

We went for dinner on a quiet Tuesday night and were inundated with special offers- on Tuesdays there are 2 for 1 cocktails, if you come in before 730pm you can get 2 courses and a glass of wine for only £15, or if you decide to sit at the large communal table you get 10% off your bill! We decided to take advantage of the first two offers and were pleasantly surprised by the whole experience.

The staff were friendly and efficient, the dishes were decent portions and tasty enough. It's not a particularly adventurous menu- flatbreads, burgers, tacos, salads, but there are also good options for vegetarian and gluten-free diners.

Well priced Italian dishes from across the country. We shared all our dishes, which, although not intentional, turned out to be a fantastic idea. All the wines are from Italy, and the waiter was able to offer several choices based on the tables' taste. The atmosphere was very relaxed and it felt like having dinner in a friend's home.

I've been raving about this restaurant to friends and managed to go again last night. The food was excellent as it was before and the portions were generous. Great pricing too where the bill with a glass of wine and service came to £23!!!!! No wonder they're always busy. Just wonder why you can't book online though.

Wow, what a place. The food was outstanding, perfectly made Gnocchi with a deliciously warming Ragu and the Carbonara was complete perfection (not ashamed to say I brought my leftovers home). It gave me all the authentically homemade Nonna vibes that I have been craving from an Italian restaurant in London. Not to mention the unbelievably reasonable pricing. The atmosphere was buzzing and inviting, the staff were also fantastic! I will be visiting again and again and again and again! Thank you Cicchetti and Wine, you are a real hidden gem.

This is the greatest find of 2022. I almost don't want to share how amazing because I want to be able to show up without a booking! The food is amazing, the team are wonderful and everyone I take has a 10/10 experience. I have organised 2 large dinners here for over 10 people and they've been wonderful. They've been great with: Nut allergies, catering to all dietaries, drinks prices, consistent quality, the atmosphere in the evening is amazing. I honestly could say a lot of incredible things about Cicchetti but you should have the experience for yourself, it does not disappoint. Menu recommendations: Meatballs and the warm choc fudge cake. WOW.

A really nice restaurant concept in Italy that is based around small Italian sharing dishes. The service was really good and we enjoyed everything we ordered.

What a find! Fantastic food, we ordered the bruschetta, mozzarella, Arancini and burrata dishes and they were all delicious. The wine was wonderful too. Service was quick and friendly. Love the concept of Italian tapas and not paying extortionate prices for a large meal. Will 100% return and recommend. Grazie!

It was a super busy, hot Friday night but food and service were excellent. Staff attentive but not overbearing. Everything arrived promptly and was delicious. We particularly enjoyed the clam pasta 👌 not our first visit to Cicchetti and definitely not our last.
