Fabulous fish and chips. Very tasty, fresh and portions are huge. Haven't actually been inside the shop, but saw great reviews online so decided to give it a try. Ordered two cods and a large portion of chips home. Received the food promptly and it was nice and warm. Will definitely be ordering again :)

My favourite fish and chip shop. The fish portions are generous and you get lots of chips at a very fair price. This is quite a distance from where I live but its worth visiting.

I've been using this chip shop for years.... after moving out of London not been in there for ages. and since my West Ham has left for new ground,pop in two weeks back, this is the Real deal.... what a chip shop!! Quality and taste..

My local fish & chip shop, family run, extremely pleasant & hard working people where we’re always served with a smile. Compared to other fish & chip shops in the borough they are priced competitively at just £6 for a whole cod. Never been disappointed with them.

One of the best fish and chips in East London.... Went there with kids and we all loved the cod and chips and services. Definitely would recommend anyone who wants to try British style fish and chips.

HUGEEEEE portions. I ordered off Just Eat and didnt know the £8.50 fish already came with chips so ordered a regular chips and it was gigantic. My order was easily enough for two people imo. I also I use to go here all the time 10-20 years ago and I have fond memories of this place. I will definitely go here more often again now that I'm more local again.

Been going there since I was a little girl and most West Ham games before GSB destroyed our old ground but thankfully we still have our beautiful old school West Ham Chippy.
Gorgeous food, cooked fresh and tastes amazing.
I now have family dinner with my own family every friday without fail, my husband goes down to get our dinner and takes the kids to see all the West Ham pictures the owners have had up in there for years including our England heroes of 1966.
We choose to eat at home as we are a big family of hungry teens but you can actually dine in there and also order online for delivery!
They have everything you expect on the menu, even down to scampi, burgers to onion rings.
Great range of hot and cold drinks and condiments.
Ercans is spotless and the owners are extremely friendly and polite and serve generous portions, it's always open and always busy which is a good sign and shows just how great our little chippy is and how amazing their food is!
I could only get 2 pictures of the menu online but it goes from one end of the shop to the other with a choice of beautiful food.
We actually can't wait til Friday evenings knowing we are going to get our family meal at a great affordable price.....we even sometimes get it during the week as a little treat, my kids are teenagers but come home and still get excited like little kids when we say we're getting chippy from Ercans.

Top quality chips, best in East London. Been going here for many years, it's an institution in area. Family run, the chips are always fresh cut and fried. Wait a few minutes for the chips to cool if they are fresh out of the fryer and they are gorgeous.

I stopped here for a no nonsense coffee and a quiet sit down to gather my thoughts but I was delighted to see the interior of this chippy probably hasn't changed since the 70s. Check the tiles, it's almost a museum! I cant vouch for the food because it's not my sort of thing but the coffee is ok and I was clearly charmed by the decor.

The Fish and Chips here are Fantastic.
Always fresh and always hot.
There are other places I can go to, to get fish and chips, that is closer to me, but I always come here as the quality of the food and service is excellent.
I would highly recommend this place.

I've been going to Ercan since I was a kid. This is without doubt the best chip shop in the area. Sometimes you have to wait, but this is a good sign because the proprietors focus on quality above all. <br/><br/>Servings are generous, for a £2 large portion of chips we usually feed a family of 4. <br/><br/>Since West Ham United announced the move from Upton Park to Stratford there has been some concern amongst local businesses. I hope a good family owned business like Ercan sticks around as it would be sorely missed.
