Adam/Mohammad was an exceptional staff who was very friendly! The music was lovely, the food was both tasty and affordable - what more could you want?! Open till very late, perfect for your post night out food stop off.
Seriously, seriously good food. Ordered for delivery late at night, yet the quality remained exceptional. The chicken Shish wrap was so tender, seasoned to perfection and had really nice charcoal flavours. Awesome healthy options too and the free Baklava was a great touch. Genuinely rivals a lot of the Middle Eastern food I’ve eaten in Dalston and the east end. Looking forward to eating in at the restaurant!
The flavour on the lamb chops is amazing, great Smokey flavour and succulent too.
They give you a butter knife as cutlery but I didn’t even realise until I had eaten because the lamb is so tender!
Great guys too, really friendly staff who will assure you to eat first while it’s hot and then oh. Real old school hospitality.
Ordered the chicken shawarma platter and it was enough for two people. Very tasty and definitely value for money.
Cheap and cheerful - if you need your fix of shawarma, grilled meat or halloumi this is the place. Plenty of chips and rice in the plate dishes, will fill you for a night out. Fast service and quite a lot of seats.

Never had a problem with the lovely staff at Beirut caffeine they are always incredibly friendly welcome and accommodating since i moved to newcross. Been coming to this location for about 3 yeards now most night for my dinner after a late night out or after a long day at uni and never regret it. The staff always have time to chat, ask how I’m doing and have a laugh with me. I see other customers giving them a hard time often but they are always dealt with grace and professionalism. Thank you so much Beirut’s for always delivering the best Customer service ive seen arond newcross and nice food
Lovely place with lovely food. Relaxing atmosphere and great staff. Though some of them might be cranky at times but overall, a good place to take out or eat in from.
Been here with my family a couple of times, we're not local just dropping our Son off at Goldsmiths Uni. On both our visits the food & service were excellent and not expensive, reasonably priced IMO. Would definitely recommend them.
We ordered from Beirut Canteen for the first time last night and the food was amazing. Everything was so tasty with good portions, will defo be paying a visit in person next time.
