Love this place. They know their drink and are super friendly. Really nice, chilled vibe with great music. Delicious small plate food and a nice little beer garden to boot!

My fish was lovely and fresh (Plaice IIRC) and I liked the roasties. The mushy peas was one of the nicest I’ve tasted in a long time. Well portioned too. Not sure about the grilled tomato that they included but more vegies never hurt anyone.

We booked The Gunmakers for a private party on a Saturday evening. It was exceptional - incredible food, cocktails and service. It's an intimate venue which meant that even though it was a small affair (~ 22 people), by staying in the bar area for the whole evening there was a great atmosphere throughout. Friends suitably impressed and sore heads the next day from over indulging in the agave-based drinks...

This is a great little pub hidden away from a busy main road. The food was delicious and the team - especially Pedro and Victor were amazing recently when I hosted an event in the pub! They went above and beyond and I can particularly recommend their margaritas! We'll be back, thanks both!
Absolutely wonderful place! Came in with a fairly large group, the food was delicious and the drinks were even better. A special thank you to the staff who were super accommodating, had great suggestions of what to order and were all-around lovely. Highly recommend.
We hosted a company social at The Gunmakers and the experience was fantastic. Pedro and his team are very welcoming, friendly, and provide great service. The cocktails and food were incredible too, especially the guacamole and ceviche! We'll definitely return soon.
Once again, an unbeatable night at The Gunmakers. These guys know how to make a spectacular cocktail. Not only that but the taqueria gave us some awesome tacos, as a vegan the options were brilliant, inventive flavours, delicious ingredients and great portion sizes.
Value for money is spot on.
But what really makes the experience special every time, is the service of the staff who are so attentive and listen to every request you may have, always with a smile on their faces!
Was a little unsure on the menu at first glance, but was very pleasantly surprised! The chicken supreme with all the Asian influences worked really well and was both pretty and full of interesting flavours! Service was good. Asked for some mayo to go with the crispy chicken skin, to which the waiter went to check with the chef. The chef made a soy based sauces she think would work better, which was highly appreciated!
Delicious tacos and great cocktails. The margaritas were perfect. Our waiter was also terrific and attentive. He spent extra time talking one of our party who was new to the UK through the menu.
I made the right decision to spend my birthday at Tigre Tacos at the Gunmakers. We had a great time. The food was exactly what I was looking for, genuine, unpretentious, delicious Mexican Pacific-style food.
As this was a last-minute plan we were unable to book a table earlier and so we had a limited time to order food before the kitchen closed. Nonetheless, the staff made their best to cater and deliver our food and drinks orders on time. Everyone had a good time and I really enjoyed spending my birthday evening there. As a Mexican myself, I can fully recommend this place!
