The Railway - London - Photo album

Two level pub with plenty of seats/tables and a good variety of drinks.
Owned by Wetherspoons, there's lots of space which is sympathetic to its glorious Victorian past. I actually got lost tracking down the ladies' loos a floor upstairs. Plenty of choices of food on the menu, and very reasonably priced. Enjoyed ourselves.
Nice honest Wetherspoons pub, food nearly always good. Nice staff, and a comfortable pub in Putney, a place now expensive in other pubs and bars... Busy most times, with different clientele, during the different day times. Hopefully it won't be sold off, and remain a Wetherspoons, with great honest
Occasionally excellent management ( professional and considerate female manager). Marred by troublesome clientele and a few members of staff who clearly don't want to be there. You can only judge a spoons on its current state of management, but also- as Putney emplacement, it is of course a great p
Nice wetherspoons pub with upstairs seating and little booths past the bar. Reasonably priced food and good variety of drinks. Can get Lively on Friday nights, with varying clientele, from after-work groups to students pre-lashing on woo woo pitchers.
This pub is conveniently opposite Putney train station, it's a JD Weatherspoons branch too, so there a good range of food and drink at rather low prices, smashing! Also it's not normally packed during the week.
Great cheap food, served fast. Plenty of space. There are almost always quiet corners for relaxing dinner. However Friday and Saturday nights are noisy and overcrowded.
Great deal with the daily offer. I went on Friday evening and there was Fish&Chips + pint of beer for only 5,90₤ Foof was good, quantities size not excessive but will come back.
The best Wetherspoons in the area. Good food, very reasonably priced beer. Lovely seating areas both upstairs and downstairs.
Good, predictable pub fare. Very reasonably priced. Slightly above average quality. Portions ample. The locals filled the place on the Saturday evening we visited.
Best local pub. Great range of beer, including good selection of cask ales, and cheap! Reasonably-priced food all day.
Cheap as chips, lots of nooks and crannies including an upstairs area, attracts a few elderly locals whose best days are behind them, as well as young students chasing last orders.
As with other JD Wetherspoon pubs The Railway in Putney is 'cheap and cheerful' but this is not to its detriment. Far from it, in fact; The Railway is a considerably better option than many of its more expensive and more pretentious competitors locally - as well as further afield. The food is incred
It's closing soon so reviews are not sadly needed anymore . Great food offer's most days . Cider festival on now for 1 month .
