Lovely old pub with a great interior. Off of the Salisbury Road (near Queens Park station) and is easy to locate. Their food is nice and they have a great selection of beer.

The Salusbury is the obvious hip hang out junction, where the beautiful, the youthful, carefree inhabitants of this rapidly gentrified part of NW6 flaunt their hide. It is hardly ever empty, and undoubtedly the most happening joint in and around Queen's P

Having had a good old mooch at the Queen's Park Farmer's market, the usual lunchtime pangs guided me and my pal to The Salusbury, a gastro pub and a very handsome looking wine and deli shop next door.

I recently found out that several celebrity food critics have had very high praise for this good looking eatery and we were about to find out why.

I've already said that the word gastro makes me feel I need a loan before eating in one. A cursory glance at the menu certainly did nothing to disabuse me of that idea. All thoughts were dispelled, however, when I spotted Burrata on the menu, a cheese from Puglia which is like a cross between a Mozzarella and double cream. It was served on a bed of roasted beetroot, perfect to counteract the creaminess of the cheese. I have only ever seen Burrata on the menu at one other restaurant, the quite sublime 'Il Cibo' in Holland Park

My friend opted for the assorted meat platter which came with pickled vegetables and some crispy Italian flat bread.

Both dishes were just mouth wateringly good. Totally lush, as my brother would say. The crunch of the very lightly pickled vegetables against the saltiness and density of the various Italian cured meats was just spot on. As for the Burrata, it melted effortlessly on my greedy tongue and slipped down effortlessly with the sweet beetroot. Heaven's gotta have this on the menu.

One glass of house wine each, a bottle of water and the food came to a pretty painful £42 pounds, but when it's this good, I'm prepared to eat gruel for a week.

I went to The Salusbury in the middle of January as part of a party of 6 for a birthday meal. From the off, the pub was scoring points with its decor and overall ambience, coming across as both chic and professional. We were promptly ushered round the corner to a comfortable dining area - set apart from the rest of the pub - where we were served by an efficient (if slightly impersonal) waitress.

For my starter I had the prawn dish. The portion was generous, and it was prepared it a mouth-watering slightly-spicy sauce. The general consensus was a thumbs-up for the starters. For the main, I went with the steak, accompanied by a side order of chunky chips. Perhaps the prawns set the bar too high, but I was slightly under-awed by the steak. It was nice, but nothing to write home about. Once again, the mains went down well with everyone in our party - aside from my brother who had the pheasant and was thoroughly un-enamoured. Fortunately, the portions were big enough that he was able to pick from other people's plates and still depart with a full belly.

On the whole, we had a lovely evening, the genial atmosphere of the pub perhaps carrying it where the food fell slightly short.

The atmosphere was so quaint and lovely. It was very wonderful English experience of an awesome pub. I highly recommend you try this place while in London. The service was a 10 out of 10. The food and drinks were all phenomenal. I wish I had gone a few more times to try other items on the menu. I got this pizza for the lady at the next table and a fabulous looking pizza and I just couldn’t turn it down!

Booked a table on Friday night. Arrived a bit early but they were able to seat us. Good selection of drinks. I had an amazing pizza. Service and attention to detail was impressive too. Highly recommended.

Recently went back to the Salusbury over the weekend and it still delivers a great dining experience. The food is very good and is reasonably priced. The service has also been great, but this time, the Italian gentleman (maybe the manager), was fantastic and very pleasant.

Suchna lovely place although the service needs a bit of more focus. Talking about missing items from our order, and added items in our check in the end. Well it happens. More precisely we missed a Heineken of my friend and we were charged extra pint of beer and a single glass of wine, but we ordered only bottled. The pizza and the wines were really good and I loved the design of the knifes we used for the pizzas. 🍕 Amazing vibe and quality food. You must try the mushroom pizza dripped with some truffle oil. Smell so good. Ahhh... We might visit again.

Delicious pizza. We had the other options a few times and were a little disappointed compared to the pizza. Great atmosphere and really friendly staff. They are also super child friendly with high chairs and big tables.

Classic local pub that attracts an eclectic crowd providing a good atmosphere. Food is really good too, especially the pizza which is my favourite in the area. A really decent pub.

Decent place to drink, great bar staff, you don't have to wait too long to get served. Toilets need to be updated, but I tend to judge a place of hospitality by this.

One of the best glutenfree pizzas in London!! Yes there is the risk of cross contamination as i believe they use the same oven but so far had never had any issues Even managed to bag myself a glutenfree beer 🍺 🍕
