Erstwhile Parrot is the jewel in East London's coffee shop crown. I am so glad I live just a stone's throw away. Nothing makes me happier to live where I do than this sweet and savoury haven of love-fuelled coffee, cakes and best brunch ever!! The garden is splendid too and is great for kids as has its own mini play kitchen and clean astroturf :)

Lovely little coffee house, very cosy and homely with a great outdoor area. Food looked and tasted great, and the staff are super friendly. Child friendly and reasonable priced. Highly recommended and just what we needed in the area :)

Great place! Very chilled out vibe, good quality coffee, nice brunch menu for Sunday lounging, and an outdoor space perfect for kids. Oh, and they do an open mic night. We'll be back!

Really enjoyed the atmosphere and service. It's a huge improvement from the previous business. With the coffee,especially the hot chocolate, being well presented and great tasting;prices were also reasonable. Best part is that they accept card which is a plus.

This place is the best. So good to have a decent coffee shop. Interesting looking events too (Gujarati food night, open Mic night). Really great.

A cosy coffee shop at the heart of the community with lovely 50s style interior, exceedingly good cakes and friendly service who always seem to be playing good music. Be sure to stop by on your way to Upton Park.
