If you're around, go there! Quiznight is fun and endearing, atmosphere is cheerful and relaxing and the food is to die for. For real, try the chicken nuggets. They're so good, I wanted to call my mom and thank her for bringing me into a world that holds them with every bite. Seriously, they put the tears of the Buddha himself into the spice mixture or something. If you want to reach nirvana, stop meditating and start eating those nuggets! P.S. White miso mayo goes perfectly with them.

The Three Compasses in Dalston is the epitome of a classic London pub. With a proper local old-man boozer feel, it manages to maintain an inviting and fun atmosphere on a Friday and Saturday night & a chilled out post-work pint feeling in the week. One of the bet things is the music. When I visited, they were playing some great bumpy UK Garage that had everyone going, and the DJs had a great selection of tunes throughout the night. The pub has a great vibe that makes you feel at home as soon as you walk through the door. The drinks have a variety of lager, pales, IPA cider & wine on offer, lovely Guinness too. The seating is plentiful, and you can easily find a spot to relax and enjoy your drink, even on a busy night.

We came here last Sunday to watch the footie (the less said about that the better). We found it to be spacious and felt like they had thought about the Covid rules and really stuck to them. The screens were big for the match, the service was quick and thorough and the house wine was nice. We didn’t eat as we had just been for a roast but it looked like burger and chips sort of deal nothing fancy. There’s an area out front for smoking. It wasn’t overly busy at that point although I know it can get busy here. I wouldn’t say this is a family place and I couldn’t tell if it was dog friendly but certainly a good place to come for a boozey drink with friends or to watch the football

Drooping bushels dress the sun trap frontage. Small picnic tables sit out side it’s pleasant wooden face. Inside are blood red walls, with a thick bar to the left. Games of backgammon, cheese and trivia pile in he corner. Stubby round tables crowd the central space, as 2 televisions are pitched directly the infront and too the right of the main entrance. Within a stones throw of dalston market it definitely worth dropping in for a tipple, meal or catching Spurs.
