The Penridge Suite

Recently attended my father's wake there. It was suitable for the ocassion. I would say the audio visual equipment needs bringing into this century as I had to tinker with connections. The display area was disappointing because there was no white screen and the projector was fixed very high. Not everyone had a view! I was surprised the bar was not open to toast my dad either. Maybe the organiser was unclear on this during her negotiations with the venue so I will still give 4 stars orherwise it would've been 3.

A beautiful and elegant venue, could not fault it. The occasion was a beautiful friend's 60th. We had nibbles and drinks, then into the lovely dining area to a delicious sit down 3 course meal, tended by attentive waiting staff. There was a spacious dancing area and decor was on point. Fabulous place

I had my wedding here at this venue and it was exactly what we were after. It's prices were competitive and the staff were very very helpful. It's deceiving how many people can actually fit in this place and the amount you can fit in there. Just looking, you wouldn't think it can fit 200 people pretty comfortably and it can seat many many more, I think up to 300. We had room for 200 guests, a head table, a large sized dance floor and a band and still plenty of room for people to move around. What I really loved about this place is that we could treat like a blank canvas. We could decorate every single part of it with what we wanted to do to make this the wedding of our dreams. Hats-off to the manager there, she was helpful and she was there all the time to make sure everything ran smoothly.

Penridge suite has a lovely large function room that roughly holds 150 - 200 guests. We had 15 tables out that holds 10 person per table not including top table. The venue provided us with fridge and storage space all tables dressed and we provided for our own alcohol. The janitor and supervisor where great and professional. Ran around clearing and helping clear the venue at the end of the night. Only problem was parking for guess. But a station is very close for anyone that didn’t want to drive.
