Sole D'oro

Last time I was there I ordered pizza with parma ham, the crust was awesome, but I didnt like the ham, it overtook the pizza taste and just tasted pork. Please use another producer of parma ham…I also didnt know oregano had to be ordered as an extra. Do Italians eat pizza without oregano? anyway, that was last time, but this time I got smarter and ordered exactly the way I wanted it and it was by far the best pizza I have ever eaten! tomato sauce, crust, awesome! So tasty, I m glad I gave it another go! Will defo order again! Well done!

Last we had visited this place was many years ago. After receiving appalling service then, we had stopped visiting there. Last night, we booked a sit down meal as a family as my children wanted wood fire pizza. We had received fantastic service with Sangria drink offered to us on house! The pizza, bruschetta and home made tiramisu were delicious. On top of it, we had great service. Staff was polite, patient and kind. My children had great time and were very well looked after. We loved it here and had a great night.

Amazing pizzas and love that they cater so well for vegans and veggies! The nicest crispiest pizza base I've ever had with a generous amount of toppings. Unfortunately now I can't eat any other pizza as its just not up to the same standard as Sole D'oro. The staff and owners are so lovely and it's an overall amazing experience!

After reading some of these reviews on Google, I had doubts but that day I was local so I decided to pop in anyway! Soon as I walked in I was greeted by lovely and polite staff. Manager is a true gent! He explained to me what was and wasn’t halal on the menu and answered any other questions I had. The salami and sausage are not Halal but everything else is. I was like no way! Authentic Italian ans halal?! Including the pasta and burgers! I was looking to only order a margarita and a veg pizza that day lol. The smell when you walk in... Wow, you know Tom and Jerry - when Tom floats to the food, yeah it’s like that. Then they mentioned that they do “woodfire burgers” what?! I didn’t even know there was such a thing! That sounds amazing! So here is what we ordered: Fried Calamari £7.95 Butterfly King Prawns £7.95 Margarita £6.95 Pizza Pollo (chicken) £10.95 Spaghettini Bolognese £10.95 Cheese Beef Burger £11.95 Lemon Pannacoyya Tart £4.95 Chocolate Raspberry Tart £4.75 First off as I’m a sauce guy, the Sriracha mayo is incredible! I didn’t want to share this really! So just the heads up is you’re ordering with friends lol. The fried calamari and deep fried king prawns was delicious! Everything was cooked perfectly but my favourite were the prawns. The woodfire pizza was also yummy! Highly recommend both Margarita and Pollo (chicken) pizza guys! So soft and flavoursome. They also have #VEGAN PIZZA! How awesome is that! 🙌🏾🙌🏾🙌🏾 I love pasta! Who doesn’t?! The spaghetti Bolognese was a comfort dish, slow cooked beef ragu and comes with parmesan 😍 there are not many places which do this dish halal. Incredible. Major points! Now the burger! I’ve found a new spot for a local burger! This was just an all round nice burger. I’ve not had one of these in years! Brioche bun, with a nice sized beef patty, lettuce, tomato and burger sauce! Highly recommend! The deserts were very rich, a little too sweet for me. The chocolate raspberry was a little bitter perhaps due to the dark chocolate but we still finished them both Lool! Ordered Pizza with Green Salad previously for the first time and it was absolutely lovely. I particularly loved the salad with some kind of Mediterranean dressing. Once lockdown is over I would love to visit and have sit down meal. The food was so delicious that it was gone too quickly. Only negative is that it was little bit expensive for a thin-based pizza.
