Good atmosphere and good choice of drinks. What I really like of this place is that it has lots of game to play with your friends or by yourself if you go just for a walk and drink solo.

Nice place. Whilst the refitted version lacks the character of the old place, it’s a nice joint with a cozy and fun atmosphere and staff who have clearly invested in the place so deserve to succeed.

Under new management and doing a fine job. Free games to play, good selection of beers. I would like to see some events though; pub quiz or something. But other than that, a nice place to go

New Cross Gate pubs are just getting better and better. I LOVE THIS PUB! interesting beer selection (eg FourPure Blood Orange IPA on Tap). What makes this pub unique are the games: table football, darts, billiards and my favourite (Shuffle Puck - a great Canadian classic). The absolute added bonus are the classic arcade games. The staff are really lovely and friendly too.

[Under new management]
This place has been open a week now and both times that I’ve visited it’s been amazing. Definitely a different vibe from what is was before and for the area. Its bright and airy with some quirky little features.
It’s super chilled, the bar staff are friendly, chatty and all the games are free to play - Ranging from an old billiards table to retro arcade machine.
I’m yet to try the food but I’ve attached a photo of the menu.
Couldn’t recommend this place highly enough.

Lovely staff and a very very decent selection of veggie food. They even had kimchi burger which was delicious, although I preferred th halloumi her. Also the chips were chunky and thick. Cosy and nice interior, but if you are put off by taxidermy then this is probably not the place for you.
