Flat common land, great for walking or taking the dog out. There are a few amenities such as sports, a kids' paddling pool, ponds, Pear Tree Cafe, and kid's play area. Head to the Pavement and Clapham Old Town for coffee shops and restaurants.
Good vibe with live music under the gazebo on some Sundays. Pet friendly. Not much shade so bring your own umbrella or awning. Nice for a picnic. A bit noisy because some people brought huge loudspeakers which allowed the whole park to hear their “music”. This also sadly interfered with those trying to enjoy the live music.
I would say it's a good refreshing point for kids. Just bear in mind that they have a cleaning service in place from 2-3 p.m., so all the water is switched off. Plus have a water gun, empty cup or empty water bottle for kids to have fun running around, splashing water. Swimming goggles will be helpful too, to protect eyes from water splashes. Sadly no WC is functioning around.
A lovely open green area with a great atmosphere. Great for runners, walker's, cyclists and there were quite a few landscape artists which was brilliant to see. Plenty of benches to sit down and watch the world go by.
A really good skate park and basketball court's were both really busy which was great to see.
The common boasts a 24 hour snack bar which is really good with a huge choice of food and drink at fantastic prices
Well worth a visit even if it's a tube ride from the centre. A lovely and varied public green space. Quite lovely in parts.

Stopped off at Honest Tom's for a burger, and my daughter's photo on the late Honest Tom's bench. We love the food there. Will try the governor burger next time

One of the best parks I’ve been to. The interactions the you can have with the equipment is fantastic, music themed exercises and games to keep the body and mind active.
Lots of spaces very well kept drinking water
Charging ports for phones clean toilets on site
Soft flooring what more could you ask for.
The rest of the park is split between a few ponds and seating with places you can get a bite to eat.
Loved it can not wait to come back

I was very surprised how clean and tidy the common was, and the scale of it. I camped in the park as part of extinction rebellion, we had no trouble from the locals, only the metropolitan police who spied on all weekend tried to instigate a reaction to make us look bad. We didn't bite and left the camping site cleaner than we got there.
Love the new water park for the kids , great place for our children to play and get wet .
As sun is shining and the atmosphere is cool-warm, the Clapham common was a lovely place to relax and meditate and ponder on your experiences and the lessons. There were also lots of sports activity going on adding a splendour to the garden. I sat there for two hours happily 😊
