Two Golden Sisters

The best chips I have ever had. Nicely fried and golden perfect. not like the undercooked ones everywhere else serves. Update. This is a one off place you must go while it’s here. It’s like walking into a time machine even the till is about 50 years old. The couple are about 90 years old. When they go it will probably just shut. It’s like a peace of history in there.The chips are so greesy and fried to propa old school chips I can’t explain enough how perfect they are. I would really hate to see one of them pass before the other. It looks like a very happy partnership.

Great fish and chippy that has always been traditional for many years. The store is very old school with the decoration but the food and the owners are lovely. Both are alway happy and welcoming with a big fill smile. The best place to grab fat chips. They have a variety or fried food and they always give such generous portions. They have been here for years and I can see why. The locals love it here and always come back. Everytime I pop into this store I would be given a lollipop and the owners even know my mum. The store is clean and has a few tables inside to dine. Their fish is always huge and they are always ready to have a conversation. Thank you for always giving such a great customer service and being genuinely lovely and nice. I know that both owners are alittle older and always talk about going on holiday and laughing. I'm happy that they had this place. I havent seen the store open in a while and I have stayed dedicated to them without going to another fish and chippy. My condolences to the family as I have heard the husband has passed away.

I grew up eating Nick & Christina’s food for years . They have been in this shop for many of years . Tonight I went for my Donner & chips , and the place was unusually closed . Then been told that Nick sadly passed away . I only see him on Thursday . R I P Nick . You & your wife served the community proud . My thoughts are with your family ♥️🙏

Nick and Cristina are busy cooking delicious meals there from fresh ingredients till late at night 7 days a week. My favourite value meal is fried chicken with proper chips and salad. But there are other exiting meals to choose from like: fish and chips, shish kebab, chicken donner, lamb donner, burgers, pies, sausages, soft drinks, salad and more... Large portions. Eat in or take away.

Going there is like a time travel, you can see that the decoration hasn`t been changed for probably 20 years. It`s operated by a Greek old couple who first might seem grumpy but after you get to know them they`re always helpful and friendly. The portions are big and food is cheap and always fresh. Their kebabs are the best in the area although you can get something nicer or Green Lanes but it`d also be 2.5-3 times more expensive there.
