Village Indiya

Went here Saturday night. Rang up 30mins before and they managed to fit us in. The food was fantastic. They were really accommodating for children too, my 3YO wanted chicken nuggets and although I could tell the waiter wanted me to consider something, I explained I rang earlier to check what children’s food they did and he said they could do nuggets. The chef made them fresh! I tried one and they were so tasty! I really appreciated this extra service. We had garlic chilli chicken and a mixed grill, quality was fantastic. Also the bhaji and naan were both delicious, this is sometimes an after thought in restaurants but they were great here. It was busy so service was a bit slow, had to get attention to order etc but no big deal. Will definitely return. They seem to really care about the custom and that goes a long way.

Every time we've been to this restaurant, it's been soo incredibly noisy, usually from 95% men, were also always being sat at a table near the toilets, and the walkway section where the staff, waiters are continually back and forth, poor design !!!!! Perhaps...staff nice enough, food good as it gets. Not cheap but with 2 drinks each main meal only, about £70 +..... There's a car park very near, but you must pay, ...tables outside to accommodate perhaps 8 people over several separate tables, but its near a noisy road, outside dining !!! I think not, we're in South Woodford not the Mediterranean. Management hear this it wouldn't go amiss or break the bank to offer a complimentary drink Convenient for locals, that's it folks.

Popped into Village Indiya for dinner for a rushed dinner before seeing friends at the local drama center. The experience was great, we hadn't been to a curry house for a while and it gave us everything we wanted. The food was declicious and well cooked, the staff were friendly and understanding of us needing to get everything quickly. We'll definitely be back but will make sure we make more time as we won't want to rush this again!
