Great place. Absolutely delicious filling platters , the ingredients are fresh , the staff is friendly and helpful and the service is prompt and punctual as well. Highly recommended.
Lovely ambience, and polite, fast service. The food is phenomenal and decently priced. They have offers on food all the time, so it’s very budget friendly. This branch is very quiet and waiting time for seating and food is really quick. Would rate this restaurant a solid 5/5.
This was the first time I had chicken and waffles and I must say, it was absolutely delicious. The waffles were light and crispy and soft inside, and the chicken crispy and not greasy at all. I doused the waffles in maple syrup because I love that sweet salty combination, and I think you can also order extra bacon. It also comes with a sort of whipped butter which you can spread on your waffles.
Washed down with a beer and with a side of pickles, I'd gladly come back again. Perfect hangover food.
Ramadan Mubarak everyone! How’s your fast going? Alhamdullilah mine’s been going quite well. One thing I noticed for this year is the rise of restaurants offering an iftar menu. It’s actually amazing to see so many restaurants in London are catering to this community. Even though I do prefer staying at home for iftar (mainly because I’m not a night person and dislike going out at night time), some of the menus look enticing enough to lure me out of my crib. Especially when it’s from a delicious chicken restaurant called BIRD and you get to enjoy it together with some other fellow halal foodies – how could I say no to that?!
Was here only for the donut sandwich... and it was brilliant!! As Joey would put it... donuts goood, ice cream gooood, cream goood!What's not to love in smooth creamy and just the right amount of cold ice cream sandwiched between soft well made donuts, covered in mildly sweetened cream! There's also a drizzling of chocolate sauce and a cherry on top!! This is one of the best desserts I have had.. was totally worth hunting down the place and changing 2 buses to get here.

This place wasn't the worst neither was it the best, me and my friends went for a light lunch. I had the boneless tender chicken and I did finish it all because the sauce they gave it with was amazing 😍 the chicken was dry by itself and had no flavour. I also bought the korean chips which had a special chilli sauce and cheese over it with chilli ontop and it tasted exactly like spicehut chips 😂 wasn't overly fascinated by the food here :(

Heard the word? (sorry) Bird is AMAZING. I’d heard it mentioned and lauded by friends but never really knew much about it – other than assuming (correctly and understandably) that it served up fried chicken. But, rather than being a cheapy Chicken Cottage type affair, Bird bring Southern Fried goodness firmly into the forefront of London’s foodie gems.
Upon arrival around 5.30pm on a Thursday evening, the restaurant was very quiet so our booking was almost unnecessary - but the space filled up more as we ate. As the restaurant was quiet, we were served quickly and our food was with us around 15mins after ordering - the only fault I'd mention for service was actually that three seperate staff members asked us if our food was okay - unnecessary, but hardly hugely problematic!
Rather than the below-pictured Original Waffle Burger, I had the signature Fried Chicken, Waffles and Syrup. I really didn’t think it would work but it SO TOTALLY DID. Seriously, wow. The chicken itself was fried to perfection – a crispy exterior encasing soft, falling-off-the-bone meat, complemented perfectly by the sweetness of the runny maple syrup. I also picked up some fries with my dish - definitely a solid choice, well-cooked and delicious - but still paling into comparison to the wonder that was my main dish. Quite honestly - you probably don't need sides doing this but the variety of glazes for the chicken wings is impressive, with something for all tastes. There's a slight focus on Asian flavours for a lot of the glazes too.
I've already actually made plans to make a return visit - and for someone who tends to try loads of restaurants rather than go back to regulars, that’s a big seal of approval.
Didn't know how I would feel about chicken, syrup and waffle but now I've experienced this place I'm definitely glad I tried it!
The chicken was so crispy and none greasy it was perfect! The combination worked really well together I can see why Americans love this. My friends had the full waffle burger with bacon and cheese which looked great but way too much to eat for one person! We also tried the honey glazed wings plus Korean glazed ones. I highly rate both of these.
The donut unfortunately was dry but the icing was nice. Ice cream and cream unfortunately doesn't make it any better.
Menu looks cool. Service is great with the lovely stuff. I suggest to try out waffles. It's a little bit costy for the 'french size' dishes.
Chicken with waffles?!?! Sign me up! I went here for a birthday party of my friend, I have never heard of the place but when we go there I was surprised by the atmosphere and how nice the staff were. They did mess my wine order a bit I got white instead of red, but other than that the food was amazing! My friend enjoyed her party very much and we all were staffed with fried chicken and waffles! The spicy fries were amazing BTW!
The fried chicken connoisseur's choice. Delicious crispy chicken with great sauces, from blue cheese, to Korean sauce (fries), to hot sauce all just so delicious!
We were in a rush and boy does this place have a sense of urgency, we ordered at 17 past, food was on the table by 29 past (12 min!!!!) And we were out by 40 past and we ordered a second portion of fries. All of this and it's not fast food as you can see in the photos!
I've never had better fried chicken!!

Great food/ atmosphere.
Busy in the evening. And it was wings Wednesday. I thought under staffed for the night that it was. Food came before our drinks. And you could see the the bartender was struggling as the bar top was literally full of used glasses.
Ordered half buffalo and half Korean wings. Wasn't expecting the Korean wings to have a kick to it but it did in a pleasant way.
Proper poutine had the amazing gravy.
Korean fires were ok. Again nice kick to it.
Was going well until our table was cleared. And a saucer full of blue cheese sauce was accidentally spilt on a friend's arm/jeans. Yh the car journey wasn't fun.... Windows open.
Excellent food, excellent choice of drinks and desserts, excellent staff... What more can can you say?! Definitely recommend it.
This was the first branch I came to of theirs. I've also visited their Islington/Holloway Rd and Westfield Stratford branches. They have the same level of customer service, food quality and presentation al round. It's always as welcoming as it can be, whether you visit on your own, with your partner or with family and friends. It's never been a let down for me... love it all the time!

The most delicious fried chicken I have tasted. The service wasn't perfect but the waiter told us it was his first day, so your experience may be better. Expensive, but top notch quality. Worth crossing town for.
The best fried chicken and waffles I've eaten. The portion sizes are great, prices reasonable and it tastes delicious. Always try to find a Bird restaurant when I'm out and about. This one is great too, friendly staff, nice comfortable atmosphere and great service. Would totally recommended it!
Decent waffle burger with all the right ingredients. Sauces and chicken is 👌🏽 although for some reason the tastes don’t come together perfectly. There’s probably a missing ingredient or step because it feels a step away from perfection.
Really good chicken cooked here. The tenders are my favourite with a free choice of dip. The cocktails are really tasty, especially if you like Jack Daniels. Not so busy, have been a few times and always got a table. Also good value. The Korean fries are delicious and defiantly a must.
If you're looking for a quick chicken meal Bird is the place to go. the chicken is exceptionally well made and a Korean sauce adds a sweet tangy bite to it. The poutine, while not entirely Canadian, is a great imitation and worth trying. The staff is friendly enough, the service is quick, and the prices are reasonable. The chicken and waffles Lote delicious, though I did not order that.
