Went for afternoon tea on a Groupon deal and was generally very happy with the deal. We had a nice afternoon slot, the food was tasty and there was enough of it, and the champagne was lovely too. Very highly recommended hotel. Since I found out about this hotel from a friend I always use it when I come to London. Just near Paddington station and a tube station 50m from the hotel. I really enjoyed my stay here, still not a fan of British TV, but the service was wonderful, and the location was very convenient. Also, awesome that it's the birthplace of Alan Turing.
Was quiet on a Sunday night. Was expecting small portions, but the Persian based good came in portions that were too big for either of us to finish, with a nice crisp salad.
Very enjoyable relaxing stay. Some fixtures a little tired but overall very pleased with the quality of the hotel
Afternoon champagne very nice! Was even offered more food as part of the price, would recommend.
Has character but is a little rough around the edges. Breakfast is above parr.
