Decent deli. (Visit 9/11/10) A decent deli sandwich shop on the corner of St John Street & Clerkenwell Road. I didn't particularly love my New York Deli flatbread but think I chose wrong, the Sicilian or Parisian looked good. An intersting desert, 'Cockney Fool' - spiced apples & cream. Worth popping in if you're local.

A lot of different options here including freshly made sandwiches and rolls which are prepared right in front of you. My favourite is the new yorker but i also go in in the mornings and get the super food porridge which is really tasty and not badly priced at £1.95.

Their service is really fast and efficient, with a separate payment counter so staff can focus on making sandwiches. The food is great, especially the set combinations. My favourites are the New Yorker and the Parisian - lovely melty cheese in both. I would definitely recommend Benugos for a nice lunch.

I've been working around the corner for a while now and Benugo does what it says on the box. It isn't especially cheap but on the other hand, why should it be? The coffee is pretty great, the service is very quick and polite and the sandwiches are great. They are quite expensive and could have some better breakfast/yoghurt options. A good option!

My wife happened to trip and fall outside of the store in the street. They were so helpful, they checked on us multiple times, brought her a tea and refused any type of gratuity. Super nice people. And I love the clock in their shop too.

The strangest way to buy a sandwich ever. Order there pay there go back and wait until you wonder if it is yours. It was good though. There is a good selection of different bread and topping styles. The price is ok if you consider it's London.

Lovely little place. I usually go there to have tee or coffee since is close to my office. Friendly staff, lovely bites to eat and nice area to chill out for a little break . At lunch times there is a bit of a queue which should be deal a bit quicker but the rest is great

Nice place! I was there at 4pm and enjoyed a good soup, although most of the cooked food was finished by that time. The bread that came with the soup could have been fresher.

Good for grabbing a fresh sandwich and decent coffee. They are great for those with fussier tastes! Also place to sit with free WiFi. Gets busy at lunch but quiet in the afternoon

Only had a bacon and sausage sandwich (£3.45 at this time), but absolutely fantastic. I'm quite surprised as to how I was so impressed, I wrote a review.

Part of a chain, I usually go to the one in Mayfair. Very good baguettes, panini, wraps and the like: the tuna and the cheese salad baguettes are particularly good. Service is very professional. Good coffee and tea selection.

Good porridge topping options after a long cycle. Plenty of seating, and having daily newspapers available is useful.

I had a Chennai Chicken Wrap here and it was delicious! They look like they have tons of delicious bites here and I'll be coming back.
