The stars say it all. From welcome to goodbye was fabulous. The food was great! I had liver, bacon and chips with a nice strawberry tea. It was fast service and I had an excellent conversation with my husband as well! This cafe is an amazing place to have a breakfast date 📅 💕

I had the small chicken shish and a mug of tea for £9.60 and the portion was massive with quite fast service (the normal portion must be huge). I definitely want to come back here, the food is amazing value and really good

A traditional cafe still providing quality food to hardworking people - perhaps the only good meal some of them have in a day
The staff are polite and friendly without being too forward - I suspect that their regular customers get a warmer welcome.
There is plenty of choices on the menu and the place is spotless.
Definitely worth a try.

Popped into here for a quick lunch and was very delighted. Had my usual cafe treat, bacon omelette, chips anc black pudding.

Always friendly staff and lots to choose from on the menu. Good quality food and lovely coffee at a reasonable price. Always busy which is a good sign but it's a big cafe so never feels cramped. We been back frequently over the years as it's in the market. I would definitely recommend it.

AMAZING portions and delicious affordable food. Super stuffed, with most meals being around 5£. Excellent coffee. Friendly staff and very bright, and clean place!
