Real Ale Notting Hill

Love this place. Great selection in the fridges and they manage to steer away from too many of the clichéd craft brews, I'm always finding some new to add to the "I don't regret paying 3-5 quid for this coke can sized beer." They also have a taproom and do takeaways and give you cheeky refund if you bring the growler back, so we're all saving the environment.

After a long wait, there is craft beer bar in this part of town, which is not well served unless you want to drink "devils urine" like you know what beers. Selection of beers is very good for such a small bar, with wide range of beers from East Cost, sours, seisons and some great choices from Germany and Belgium end of the spectrum. Some decent choice of west coast beers when they are available (this is my main issue with breweries: less fruit juice with alcohol and more real beers) The main plus is staff; very friendly and knowledgeable. Another plus is a wine and cider section. So many craft bars are just about beer, whereas here you can have group of people having great time and enjoying different drinks. Overall, great addition to the area of London, which needed decent Craft Beer bar for years. Andrew

Great - wide choice of wines - globally. Friendly, helpful member of staff who knew her stock + was able to advise. Bonus that customers can buy a bottle to refill from BIBs (bag in box) small selection to choose from. Good beers too, I gather from beer enthusiast. Only criticism is that prices are pretty high (and that's before we leave the EU) Cheapest wine was £7.95 from the BIB selection - a Spanish tempranillo - very quaffable

A home away from home. I find myself at real ale NH often due to their beer selection and friendly atmosphere. I’ve attended multiple events here, each of which has delivered a sensory experience rare to find. Great place filled with staff whom are always attentive and knowledgeable. So lucky to have them in the neighborhood.

I recently attended a Siren beer tasting event held at the shop which was incredibly well run. Jamie, who presented, was a fantastic and engaging host. I've been to the shop a few times since and would definitely recommend going. Fantastic service from very knowledgeable staff and an even better selection of drinks!
