Beautiful pastries, chiabatas, pizza and lots more. Highly recommend this authentic Italian family ran bakery with the original owner for the last 40 odd years and more still baking and serving many customers. A lot to handle in this Covid world trying manage customers expectations, serve and make bread whilst protecting yourself from getting Covid when you in your older years. Particularly when many customers sadly enter the shop not wearing masks when clearly displayed signs request this. I very much appreciate the numerous tasks the owner is juggling to bring us great food. A true gentleman as other reviewers have noted busily making us the best bread and cakes in the area. I spoke to one lady in the quickly moving que today who has driven from Leatherhead to buy 12 loaves for 30 years. If that's not a testament than what is! Brilliant bakery.

If you love an Italian family run bakery with tasty bread and products; this is the one to go to. Based nearby Nelson Medical Centre in Wimbledon it's a little shop which asks to have no more than one customer in the shop atm due to Covid regulations. Please be prepared to wait outside, but it is worth it. Reduced hours apply as well for now.

Panetteria Italiana offers a wonderful variety of freshly baked Italian breads and treats. There are also assorted Italian products available, like sauces and and pasta. I've always been greeted with a smile and visit often.

Lovely local bakery that I've only discovered in the last few months. Delicious bread, pastries and coffee and incredible price point. Shop local people! The owner is delightful as well.

Wonderful local bakery. I can here as a child on a Saturday morning for our homemade Nutella croissants and now I’ve moved back to the area I come any and every day of the week for freshly baked bread, pizza, pesto buns. Was delighted to find that it’s still the same Italian family baking and running the shop. A local gem, don’t miss.

I've been going since 1985. There's always good stuff to be found in here. Tasty goodies from rolls, freshly baked daily, cakes, pizza and deli foods. I love the cappuccino. I've uploaded some photos I took of the place a few years back.

A fantastic ,traditional Italian bakery. Stopped here on our way to work , managed to have a chat with the owner/baker.....a joy to hear about baking from a real baker. Bought a bit of everything to munch on throughout the day. Will definatly go back when we're working locally.

So grateful to have this wonderful bakery nearby, I only wish I'd visited sooner. They have a vast selection of dried pasta and other Italian groceries as well as the bakery items. If you're a fan of salumi try the 'meat bread', it's wonderful. They don't accept cards so bring lots of cash - the prices are very reasonable, however if you're an italophile like me you may walk out with more than you first intended!

Near my school at Wimbledon ual. I’m a huge fan of any pastry, and this place is fantastic! My first time trying out Italian bread, so I can’t compare. I got pizza bread and chocolate twist. Both are great but pizza bread is more outstanding. I’ll definitely come every time when I’m not on a diet!
