I had never tried Congolese food before but I was adamant to try this new cuisine. Unfortunately I don't live in London so I never had the opportunity. So i decided to travel all the way to London to try out congolese food for the very first time. From the very first bite of cassava leaves in rich peanut butter with spices and steamed cassava wrapped in leaves it hit me, why I had never tried this before but I am glad that i did. The food was was scrumptious and the staff where very kind. I will definitely be travelling to back to The Bash to try out Congolese dishes.

The owner is a lovely and welcoming women the atmosphere makes you feel like you are at home. You feel comfortable and welcomed. Food presentation is good and the food is absolutely wonderful and full of flavour the meat are good quality and the food does take a bit of time to make to make sure the food is on point and properly prepared.

The food was delicious , authentic and came quick and hot. The service was lovely and as we were the first people there we had all her attention and she made sure we were comfortable. I will be back again it felt like going to an aunty house and being loved with food which was what i needed. Thank you

The food as promised was freshly made and the decor and ambiance was certainly nice. The food however did take nearly an hour to make. If you are looking for meat stew which falls of the bone, this is not the place to be. However, if the flavours are lovely.

I've been there two days ago with a friend of mine. Had some diced mutton, Cassava leaves, Cassava and plantain. It was my first time, every bite was incredibly good. I definitely recommend!!

Fantastic food and the atmosphere was simply amazing. I am not Congolese and I was there with friends who were also not Congolese but we felt at home. Thank you and I will go back there again and again.

The Bash is the best possible restaurant to be. I went to celebrate my wife's birthday in there and the customer service was totally out of the world. I would definitely recommend this place for any and everyone.

This was fun! I had some great Mtaba in a welcoming Congolese setting, and we were burstingly full afterwards. Good prices and very friendly staff.
