This is a goldmine. Right behind the Royal Brompton Hospital. Excellent value for money, the Thai food is fabulous. My sister says just like she had in Thailand and some of the portions are huge. Well worth a visit!
Fabulous food, friendly and welcoming. Staff are efficient and friendly. No need to swipe a card for a tab so wasn’t made to feel like a crIminal. Rare occurrence in London. Lonely Thai food, starters from £1.50 and a curry from 5.60. True value for money!!
Loved our first visit to this quaint pub. Had 2 hours to kill yesterday during a visit to Royal Brompton hospital nearby, so glad we found it. Very friendly staff, nice atmosphere and tasty, well presented food. Keep up the good work guys
We love the Crown. Love the food, love the drink, love the people 💛💚🎶🏴 🇮🇪 🥘 🍷
We always use this pub when we're between appointments at The Brompton. Great food.
Very homely and relaxing. Perfect place after going to the Marsden.
Friendly people and bar staff - great Guinness :)
Been 4 times now and always had good food and friendly service. Prices pretty reasonable as well for Chelsea! I'd prefer more chilli in my Thai but that's just my personal preference.
Good time spent with good people nice place
5 *****
Lovely little pub off of Chelsea main streets. Great Thai / English food, friendly staff and a cold pint. Worth a visit :)
Nice little boozer we use before football
Great new Thai menu food and service very fab worth a visit
Great little pub, just off the beaten track. Lovely food, properly served Guinness and a great barman. Definitely worth a visit.
Great beer fantastic food, a Chelsea secret! Come and try it and tell me what u think
Lovely little pub with great tasting food at great prices. We had an appointment at the hospital next door so this was very convenient. Happy bar man and waiter. I had and amazing Prawn Pad Thai. My father is Gluten Free so he only had a Jacket Potato with Beans. They lose a fifth star but only for a l of gluten free things on the menu, the Jacket itself was lovely. X

❤️ A cosy traditional Chelsea boozer.
.
Nestled on a corner, in the shadow of the Royal Brompton and Royal Marsden hospitals you’ll find The Crown pub. The nearest tube is South Kensington.
.
This Freehouse was built mid nineteenth century and is one of only a few old school pubs left in Chelsea.
.
This is a cosy pub which is traditionally decorated with an eclectic mix of wall colours, full marks given for the proper pub carpet. The servery, counter and back bar are all solid dark wood with some nice ornate touches. The pumps were covered in menus which I wasn’t a fan of. In the bar area, seating is limited to a couple of poser tables plus a few stools around some ledges. There are tables and chairs out front if you fancy a imbibing alfresco. At the back of the bar is a dining area which didn’t feel in keeping with the rest of the pub but was bright and airy.
.
The beer line up was good and included Doom bar on hand pump. I opted for a pint of Heineken, my pint was lively and hit the spot, price point was average for London. The food here is a mix of traditional pub grub plus a popular Thai menu.
.
I arrived mid-afternoon on a Sunday and the atmosphere was fairly chilled with the exception of a table of six fellas who had been right on it the night before, nice bunch of lads. Then in comes a middle aged woman who ordered a large wine and was on to the next one in no time at all. She proceeded over to the table of lads and started asking them loads of questions about what they’d been up to, then next minute she was gone.
.
The Crown is a charming little pub which has a few frayed edges which is what I loved about the place. Because of the pubs size, you immediately feel involved in what is going on here. The beer was good and the Thai food draws in the punters. I really enjoyed visiting here, definitely one for the traditionalists.

Ah ha, a proper pub, right next to the royal Brompton hospital. Great hospitality, lovely beer, both cask and keg. Recommend for a beer anytime.
Food was great, good portions and the meat in the pie was lovely. My pink gin was really flavoursome too and I will be getting it for home. Even my fussy sister loved it so that's saying something.
Nice little bar, reasonably price beer, friendly and polite helpful staff, there is also very reasonably priced menu,we went there for the first time last week,I had a couple of beers with my wife, the staff were really friendly,we decided to have lunch, we had the platter for 2,I had the Thai red curry, my wife had the pad Thai,I was impressed with the way they presented the food, and we were very pleased with our orders, we visited the Crown again this week for lunch, I would highly recommend a visit for a drink and a meal.
Nice little pub food really well priced and I would say hard to beat on price and quality even outside of London I got charge for from £20 and that was with a pint of soft drink
Good little pub. Bit bigger on the inside than it seems from the outside. Has a couple of outdoor tables. Service was good. Unfortunately the kitchen opening times posted at their front door are incorrect, kitchen was closed when we visited, shame as we were looking for a feed and wouldnt have ordered beers if we knew we couldn't eat. They need to update that.
Authentic Thai food, very tasty and fresh for an excellent price. I had the Pad Nammun Hoy and it was delicious with a generous portion of prawns
This pub is my favorite in the area. If you want to go meet locals in Chelsea and put back a few, this is the place. Fish n Chips are great.
How amazing Thai food, high quality Asia cuisine, reasonable prices of set lunch, staff was friendly, be back again
Tasty and well priced food for the location. Good deals on spirits would definetly go again. A rarity to have a pub of this calibre in a location full of over priced modern bars
Filling meals, made with love at a great price. Enjoy while listening to 70s bangers with fizzy pints.
Very quiet when we arrived but circa 4.30 on a Sunday and they were still doing food. Thai Green curry was amazing and very good value, my party Pad Thai was also superb.. . Cheesy chips on the side for our grandson toddler and everyone was happy ( his cheesy chips went down well with everyone).. Hard to find a good value pub this close to central London.
Nice little pub in the neighbourhood. I was visiting and met some friends that live in the area. .
Traditional pub with good value drinks for the area.
Best pub food I had in London. I was quite surprised. Lovely steak with chips, salad and veggies + a pint for 20 pounds. Waitress was the nicest. Definitely recommend it.
