....Really amazing take-out place, representative of authentic Nigerian cuisine but birth out of someone who has a very deep understanding of his heritage, whilst being able to deliver its cuisine in a cosmopolitan sense. Original and authentic in every sense from decor, and ambience. ...to food. Excellent Customer service and amazing food! A must visit! .....👌👌👌
Fantastic food. Great service! A variety of dishes to choose from and obviously the decor is my favourite.
The food is good, very reasonably priced and it's open til 4am! The staff are friendly and nice. The premises are decorated stylishly, are very clean and inviting. Very easy to find and accessible with options for meat eaters and vegans alike. The jollof burritos are the truth!
Go chop!
The yam porridge burrito is incredible. I can't finish one in one go, so it's great value too. Another vegetarian option would be nice, but for now I'm quite happy with the burrito!
Shop looks great, and the staff are so friendly. I've got no idea why there are bad reviews mentioning service and food taking ages to come out - you order at the counter and it's prepared in front of you, it's not a sit down restaurant!
Lovely Food and Excellent Service !
The place has colourful decor , variety of food options to choose from.
I went for the Gizzard Dodo meal, it was delicious and the spices were blended well and gave it that full flavour.
I was served by Toby who was very welcoming and friendly, i will back for some more gizzard and dodo.
The food was very tasteful. I do wish there was much more spice. But the food was delicious. Inside the facility is extremely clean & nicely decorated. The service was also good, friendly a polite. A lovely place to get some delicious African food. Another pro is its open till extremely late.
Really loved the authentic Nigerian food at this contemporary establishment. Menu is nice and simple, shop is inviting and clean.Portion sizes are generous.Great customer experience and fantastic pricing. Would recommend the alcoholic slush puppies.
Will definately go back.
Thought I try this place seeing as there has been some hype about it. Lovely layout and clean environment, felt overwhelmed with the many choices however I spoke to a lady behind the counter who was happy to help me. From my knowledge I ordered the burrito with jollof rice, gizzard and plantain and beans. The assistant started to put in a takeaway container and I was like 'what happened to it being in a burrito'? She was polite if anything however I wanted to eat my order there and then they take it away. After paying for my order I thanked her for the service but felt a little short changed as what I wanted to have my order in a burrito!!
My food was okay...enjoyed the flavours and freshness of the ingredients. Not sure if I'll be too quick to head there again nevertheless I GO CHOP as great potential to be success and bring authentic African food to south-east London diverse community!!
Very small portion and un authentic taste. - However was then contacted by the company and offered an amazing amount of free food delivered to my home, an apology and overall an exceptional customer experience. Would definitely recommend them and the food delivered this time tasted amazing!
Amiable staff, cool decor and yummy food. We tried meal boxes with rice, stew, plantain & beans, plus malt drinks. Great value for money. See you very soon, I Go Chop!
P.S. your music selection was great fun as well!
I found everybody welcoming and friendly with efficient service. I love the decor which is fresh creative and uncluttered.
Their prices are reasonable, I ordered Egusi Stew and Pounded Yam. My food was delicious and I will definitely be going back.
Congratulations to the owner this is a good addition to the area.
West African food is overdue appreciation by a wider audience, and this may be the place!
Simple menu, very mild spices, friendly staff, modern, hip decor.
Good value.
1 small step at the front of the shop. Small seating area. Music a bit too loud.
