Costa Coffee London Bridge

This has to be one of the worst coffee services in London. It's a shame to judge or rate a business by just one incident or visit, but it's always the first impression that counts and often makes you want to come back. Sunday, 10:10 am, 3 staff working, 1 taking orders 2 preparing drinks. There were about 4, 5 clients in the cafe so you could argue they were somewhat busy. I place the order, £3.20 for a medium latte which I thought was a little expensive but I hoped it would be worth it. The girl behind the counter takes my order and then starts shouting at the 2 colleagues who were preparing drinks the order. By the time I get to their counter to wait and collect the drink, the girl had 'shouted' two more orders. Safe to say when I got to collect the drink, the guys were confused and overwhelmed. I got asked "what are you waiting for?" to which I could have answered anything, no one would have known otherwise. The guy then starts to warm the milk, not quite frothing it, pours it in the paper cup and after that he takes a tiny coffee cup which had been sitting there for what seemed liltte a bit, pours it on top of the milk (!?) and then puts a lid on the paper cup and hands it to me. I must say, I have never seen a latte made like this, is this Costa's way to make lattes? The cup was 3/4 full, the drink lukewarm and with a coffee shot sitting on top of some milk. I just cannot believe that this type of service is allowed, and that I paid £3.20 for it. Surely Costa can afford to train their personnel on how to prepapre coffee and surely there must be a better way of taking orders other than by shouting from one colleague to another, and getting confused of what the order should be next. Personally one of the worst cafe experiences for me.

I love this costa! Usually costa doesn't appeal to me, but this one has amazing drinks and sandwiches. I normally go after school and would like to give a special thank you to the lady who works there at 5pm on a Friday (specifically two weeks ago because i haven't been there since then). I don't know her name but she always recognises me and my dad, and is so so friendly. Amazing place

Friendly staff and the best place to wait for a train at LB station. The staff sadly don't realise there's a difference between filter (which tastes good for only £1) and americano (which tastes like death) and they often "upgrade" it instead of saying they've run out of filter. They think they're doing something nice and I end up with a cup of sadness. At least it's not a Nero.

Bought the most expensive coffee i ever had but most people consider it a normal price Black forest and cream hot chocolate (Large for £3.65) The lady did not ask me what size I wanted, she just out me down for the most expensive one... I don’t think that’s good enough. It was a good drink though and I loved the festival feel to these seasonal drink, but my friend bought the Bonfire spiced family and hated it, its very strong so be aware.

Really slow service - 4 people behind the counter but after 5 mins in the queue I gave up as no one actually serving. Especially in a station, but retail generally you expect some kind of pace when there are customers waiting to be served but staff all too busy having a chat over by the coffee machine. Go to Starbucks instead - actual drive to serve customers in a quick and efficient way
