Great to choose your own salads but can end up very expensive (£6+ for a salad). Fantastic if you're a fussy salad eater or on a strict diet

Great place to get lunch. Would recommend ordering click and collect to save to queue!

I recommend freedom fridaya, where you can select as many meat and fish items as you like.

I have been going to chop'd consistently for the last year and loved it. Recently however there has been a change in suppliers for many of the veg. and quality had come down very significantly. I've been told by the team that it was temporary but it's been 3 weeks already so I guess I'll have to change menu for lunch going forward. A shame

Always a little disconcerting to get glared at as soon as you get your phone out to take a photo of the food you are about to purchase. I guess it surprised me as its a bit like saying don't be on your cell phone when you are in the store these days. If you could see the ladies face behind the star you would see what a warm welcome I got today :) But onto the food review.

First off I had thought that this was part of the chain that I love to visit when I'm in New York, but now I realize it is not - that is Chop't I'm surprised this company got away with using such a similar name? I know Starbucks will go after any retailer that has anything even remotely similar to its name or logo and yet replace a t with a d and you are ok?

This is a grab and go place only, no seating, and you can preorder online to save yourself even more time. I read online that they offer a customer loyalty plan whereby when you buy a set number of salads you get one free - funny that I was not offered that option today as thats a great idea and certainly would encourage repeat business.

I opted for a ready made salad box today and like the idea that you can purchase your dressing separately. Also love that everything displays a calorie count as boy do those dressings vary, some are not as healthy as I thought. The selection was quite varied and the large refrigerators also had pots of stew and soup so a nice variety of items to choose from. I had a chicken and avocado box and thought that while the ingredients tasted very fresh, it was overwhelmingly lettuce and the ingredients were not cut up and mixed together as I had thought (but thats probably my misunderstanding that it was going to be like chop't)

Overall I'm not sure what you gain from visiting this "speciality" restaurant over walking a few steps further to Waitrose. I have tried to be fare with my overall rating as perhaps this was an off day. Personally I feel there are just too many food options in Canary Wharf to revisit a place that gives such a poor first impression.

Although this is only takeaway, it is an absolute gem. You can pre-order your freshly made salad and collect using the app, or you turn up, queue and order and wait, or you could just grab a ready made pot of chicken gyoza soup and have you hot stock poured in, like I do. It's absolutely delicious and really healthy too. The wraps are a bit of a disappointment, but it's a fresh salad bar.... if you want a sandwich, go to Birleys.
