Fabulous cafe Restaursnt. Excellent quality food. The mixed salad is a must and burgers and triple cooked fries... yum! Can be a bit 'bugaboo' on occasions, so if you're not into that crowd id choose your time carefully! But either ways it's very nice and chic, you could be in Miami on a summers day.

I have just had a fantastic milestone birthday party at the Lido Cafe. The room was beautifully set up with candles and table cloths. The outside area had fairy lights and heaters. Just beautiful. Brooke and her team Sasha, Suzy, Rico and Toby did an amazing job of looking after my guests, the food surpassed expectations. Fantastic evening thank you so very much for making it such a memorable occasion.

The food was fabulous - perfectly formed menu. Golden beetroot borscht, pan fried beam with samphire and panna cotta to finish! Excellent service - top marks!

There are few nicer places to be on a warm summer’s evening than sitting alongside an outdoor pool.  Sipping on an Aperol Spritz, the perfect start to the evening, we watched enthusiastic swimmers pacing the length of the pool.  It’s actually not far from where I live and I’m tempted to try myself.  My only challenge would be that the Lido Cafe would be there, tempting me to ruin any good the swimming had done.

I came here first thing in the morning when I had just moved into the area. It was a beautiful January morning and my new flat was cold, the cupboards bare. The view from the café into the stunning lido full of steaming swimmers was an added benefit to the delicious food and helpful staff. I ate a wonderful vegetarian breakfast and drank a passable flat white in peace and quiet. The food not outrageously expensive but instead nestles in the heart of what has become London's 'affordable' price range.

I don’t need to repeat myself as to how difficult it is to find a good Aussie brunch here in London. We keep returning to Salon in Brixton (review) as they seem to be ablate do a few select dishes very well. But on this occasion we had need to take the parents-in-law out for a local brunch in South East London.

Lovely cafe, nice and bright and a cool spot. Had the halloumi and beetroot burger, delicious! Service was fine. We were there when a TV show was also being filmed so perhaps not the usual experience! Had a brownie to take away that was more cake like but still delicious. Oh and free parking which was great!

Last Sunday I was lucky enough to have coordinated my visit to the Lido Cafe in Brockwell Park with one of the warmest days we are likely to experience in October.  A table outside was greatly appreciated as the northern one and I basked in the glorious sun whilst having a leisurely brunch. A ‘strongmans breakfast’ for him which was made up of quality ingredients including Gloucester old spot bacon and sausage along with Stornoway black pudding.  I predictably went for the eggs benedict, which is my brunch staple.  With running yolks and lashings of hollandaise this was a well executed version. Phew, there’s nothing worse than ordering poached egg and getting a hard yolk!

Swim first. 10 lengths minimum. Then mushrooms on toast. Very good.

The Lido Café is the perfect place for a spot of al fresco dining with impeccable service to boot. You can also dine inside, but given the chance why would you want to?

Revamped to highlight it's Art Deco heritage, the cafe now does brisk business with the yummy mummy and daddy crowd during the day and with a more mellow wine and dine feel in the evening. Overlooking the swimming pool, the glass doors are opened to the terrace in the summer with the overspill of customers seated in the great outdoors with the splash of happy swimmers in the background. The Lido Cafe’s brunches are already legendary amongst locals but as the evenings grow balmier, the terrace overlooking the pool really comes into its own for dinner and drinks. The use of seasonal and local ingredients is taken very seriously, so expect the Mediterranean/modern British menu to change regularly.

Pleasant little cafe right next to the lido with separate access. It has a little tropical vibe and so felt a little exotic. Decent prices and really tasty pizza, it wasn't sourdough but was high quality with the right amount of sauce and toppings to leave you satisfied. Would recommend and definitely go again. Also had vegan options but I ordered the normal Margherita.

Had a blast, adorable concept, great food, albeit the variety in selection is mild, as well as the selection of beer was ultimately minimal. But a cozy lovely place nonetheless.

The pizzas are brill, the staff are helpful and friendly and hardworking, and the location is amazing with the beautiful sparkling lido in the background. Sometimes there are really good deals on pizza and a pint aswell.

Really nice breakfast/lunch place, good quality food. Banana bread is amazing but really sweet! It’s a bit cold inside during the winter. Service is ok - we’ve met some nice waitresses and some with attitude. It’s usually busy in the mornings - better make a reservation.

A very popular café where you will probably have a 30 minute wait for a table. However the food is worth it. Really great attentive staff.

I don’t usually review on google but I regularly visit the lido cafe and feel very disappointed by the reviews I have read. I have never had an issue with the staff, I find them very pleasant and attentive. When I have been for an early morning swim they even let me in before the cafe had officially opened and let me grab a discount coffee which was very kind. I recently visited and had the shakshuka, it was delicious. I noticed there is also great options for vegans on the menu. As a manager of a cafe myself I know the struggles of making a profitable business through coffee so think it is a shame when people feel the need to leave such bitter reviews.

Great for brunch if you can get a table. Reserve online in advance when possible as they never answer the phone and don’t take reservations on the day. Only other meal I’ve had here was a horrible (over cooked chips, burnt meat, and pretty bland). Given their brunch is quite good, sticking with four stars until brave enough to try something else again. Friends and family love the carrot cake.
