There are so many restaurants out there that are way to overpriced for non authentic food. I’m always rolling my eyes feeling disappointed, thinking, well that’s what it’s like nowadays. Coffees getting more expensive and the cups getting smaller and smaller!
Great Grill House, on the other hand was an absolute gem today. So needed after a long day walking. Perfect ambience, very subtle lighting and very friendly staff and really delicious food. Great portions also which I think is also important. Most restaurants forget this nowadays. And very fairly priced for its quality. Very happy!
Really recommend coming here- they have such delicious food; well cooked with care and presentation.
Thank you

Nice place we did frequent it for a while, but noticed that they put the same amount of meat in the large wrap as the regular. Don't get me wrong the taste was still good, but felt a bit cheated to have paid extra for fries and more salad in my wrap

Food was delicious - got the Caprese sandwich (so much freshness and crisp) and a traditional gyro (so yummy and filling). So nice to sit and watch out the windows in a nicely decorated shop! Would definitely eat here again

Nipped in when in clerkenwell in need of a quick bite. Didn't expect much, but the service was superb and the food very good. It's a little over-salted but great quality overall and great value. Now I know it's there, I'll be back for sure

15-20 min walk from King's Cross Station. I had a nice chat with the staff at the counter, had a Greek coffee while I waited for my mixed γύρω (gyro/yeero). I was hoping to find a deli there as well, but unfortunately they no longer do the cheese/meat type deli (which is a shame) but they do sell some pasta, biscuits, caprice (if you know, you know 😁) etc. They also do delivery (think it was deliveroo). Will return, to try other things, like the pastries etc.

Rustic Greek restaurant. Food was delicious and service was friendly.
Don't expect a fancy atmosphere but the food is really tasty. Chicken was juicy and soft as well as lamb and beefteki
Worth a try.
PS: ignore some fake low reviews. If you like Greek cuisine and grill, you must visit here.

GReat is a must-visit restaurant for anyone looking for authentic Greek cuisine. I had the pleasure of dining at GReat when they first opened, as I was living in the area at the time. The restaurant offers a cozy and welcoming atmosphere, and the staff was incredibly friendly and attentive.
The highlight of GReat was undoubtedly the food. Being a Greek food enthusiast, I was thrilled to discover a place that served such delicious and authentic dishes. From the souvlaki to the gyros and moussaka, everything was prepared with fresh ingredients and bursting with flavors. The portions were generous, ensuring that you left satisfied.
What sets GReat apart is their attention to detail in catering to different dietary preferences. They offer a range of vegetarian and vegan options, making it a great choice for people with diverse tastes.
Overall, my experience at GReat was exceptional. The combination of delicious food, friendly service, and cozy atmosphere made it a memorable dining experience. If you're in the area and looking for a taste of authentic Greek cuisine, I highly recommend checking out the place.

We came to this restaurant on the recommendation of our Greek friend a couple of years ago.
He described the food and the place as it is!
Very good atmosphere, the food is delicious and good portions.
So now, this restaurant is always on the list of places to go to eat.
We really recommend it! Also the bakery is amazing!
We are happy to have this place in London! 🫶

Took me by total surprise - just nipped in for some quick food after travelling when staying at the hub Premier inn across the street. Asked for chicken with peppers and chips (ended up getting the chicken souvlaki)... And this was what I got. Turned out to be one of the best meals I've had in a a good while. £4.50 for the beer, £16.50 for the food. Great value all considered.

We’ve been twice already, they changed the location to across the street, and now it is a proper and pleasant restaurant, still infused with lots of authentic Greek style and vibe. The food is delicious and again really authentic, which is unfortunately quite rare for London. The portions are very large, and hence a very good value per price ratio. Our to-go place for Greek food when in the area.
