Shahi Karahi is a Pakistani restaurant and takeaway at the (quiet) south end of Brick Lane, they specialise in tandoori grills and kebabs but also have a range of traditional curries. I went along for a quick midweek lunch – their food is fantastic value and they offer a set lunch deal of a meat dish with chips or rice and salad for £6. The set up is pretty basic – they have an open grill at front of restaurant and a dining area with about 60 covers in the back...

The food is absolutely delicious and the service is wonderful. We’ve only been in London a few days and have eaten at the brick lane establishment twice. The burgers are amazing, the pizza is delicious, and the sushi is fantastic! It’s a great halal restaurant that serves all. Every burger I have had, from the Brown Butter Mash Burger to the Chics on Fire Chicken Burger, to the Thyme after Thyme French fries, it is always delicious! The service is quick and always comes with a smile. The absolute BEST restaurant!!

We went there a while ago before there was any sushi bar. So I'm not entirely sure if you can get all the items you are seeing in the pictures but what I can say is, each and every single item was really good. The wings were to die for. We went there twice around lunch time and it was fairly empty so service was fast and the atomosphere was exellent. I'd recommend it.

Delicious burgers at very reasonable prices. Band of Burgers doesn’t seem to be following inflation very closely because these prices are excellent for what you get! Relatively quick service and lovely staff who see to your every need. Highly recommend the mocktails too!

Visited Band of Burgers with my nephews for lunch. I had been to the branch in Camden and finally visited this one. The staff was great with us, super friendly and even didn't charge me when my nephew changed drinks. We got the peri peri wings and lamb chops for starter. The wings tasted ok but the quality of meat was a bit of a let down. The lamb chops were so good. A bit over done but still succulent, juicy and lightly seasoned for a great taste. We got the American burger and the Mexican burgers which came with home made fries and a drink of choice. The Mexican was supposed to be spicy but they use sweet chilli sauce which was over powering and kinda ruined the experience. The American burger was great. Be careful of the lemonade.. it's super Tarte even for my lemonade loving nephew. He had to change it and the waiter didn't charge me extra. They also didn't charge me full price for the chops as our first choice of garlic prawns was sold out. Great service. Great food. Check it out.

I loved the food here. It was absolutely one of the nicest burgers I have had. The fries were amazing for fresh cut fries. The services can be a little slow but definitely worth it.

The burgers are really nice here. They have combinations which you would not normally think of. Everything is made fresh at this restaurant. The restaurant decoration is quite shabby chic, which fits in with the local area. I would definitely go back and try something else.

This is probably the best place for burgers in London. The food quality is amazing!! Plu, it's halal! The environment, space and interior design of the whole restaurant is so beautiful and vintage!!! LOVED IT! Their menu is fabulous and so original!! Honestly, go there once and you'll not get disappointed!!

Really enjoyed my experience here today, went with my husband and toddler. The staff were very accommodating, attention to detail was strong. Really fresh and tasty mojitos were made for us and the chilli corn carne chips and our burgers was delicious. They even got us tap water despite not being told and an extra plate for my son as he was sharing our meal. Will definitely revisit again

I don't usually give good reviews- but on this occasion and I must say the chicken wings were absolutely amazing (garlic), I wasn't too fond of the beef; as it lacked texture and seasoning- I would definitely go again to try a different burgers. Chips in truffle oil was good but the one with thyme was very nice - I would recommend try this place, nice and friendly customer services with a great ambience.

Tasty burger joint. Wagyu beef was amazing. Chops were hand-cut and tasted fresh. Good amount of seasoning on both. Cheesy chips is just nacho cheese on top. Defo not worth the extra charged for them. Stick to normal fries. Price worked out to be £25pp. Little expensive but we did all go for wagyu beef and mock tails which had a premium attached. Burger constructed really well with good quality buns as it all held together well.

Following an impressive first outing to Band of Burgers last year, we were looking forward to visiting their newly opened second branch in Brick Lane. We weren't left disappointed. As with all new establishments, however, there's room for improvement. But, given the sheer ambition displayed by BoB part 2, it's not a case of if, but a case of when these improvements are made. Menu Recommendation Drink - Peanut Butter Shake Starter - Italian Spoiler Main - Big Love Wagyu Burger Dessert - Churro Ice Cream Burger HALAL STATUS: Fully Halal

Went in for the Sushi bar which i did not know was not part of BOB, as kids were hungry I just ordered in at BOB. The food was very fresh and the portions were big. Went in after lunchtime on a Sunday and it was not that busy.

Went here with three of my friends on Sunday 1st April 2018. When we entered the guy just said to go sit down, very bad customer service. We ordered three Signature Big Love Wagyu Burger, was made with Homemade Premium Wagyu Beef Burger with Red Onion Marmalade, maple glazed Turkey Bacon with melted Monterey Jack cheese and was meant to be served with bone marrow but they’d run out so gave 2 Wings each with a choice of BBQ, Sweet Chilli and Peri Peri. Sirloin 12 OZ 28 days aged Black Angus meat served green leaf garnish, roasted tomato and a choice of mushroom or peppercorn sauce. The side we ordered were two Thyme After Thyme, Mucky Fingers and Fungi Town. The burgers were delicious, cooked at medium. Well two were cooked at medium while my boring friend ordered it at well done. Burgers were juicy and the ingredients went well together. The steak was good too. All the sides were good apart from the Fungi Town (fried mushroom balls) they were tasteless inside and were a big disappointment.

I must say BoB have really improved their quality and I quite enjoyed their American Burger. This burger has two patties in it a beef patty and fried cheddar patty 😍😍😍. Ordered the burger to medium temperature and the burger was amazingly juicy. The Cajun Fire Rings (Onion Rings) were a let down so were there cheesy fries. They need to improve their side game.
