It is a nice cosy place for a quick coffee break and a nice piece of cake.
Situated on the main road, Bake&Cake is a nice cafe providing cakes, beverage, sandwiches and salads. It has a nice cosy atmosphere inside but there are not seats available outside and it is also on a main road which can be a downside.
The cakes are freshly made and quite cheap and you can also order a whole cake for takeaway. It is not a self-service and there is just one person working. Therefore when it is busy you may wait for more than 10 min to place an order.
When I went there, I spent about £9 for two pieces of cake, coffee and freshly squeezed orange juice. It is fairly cheap, though. I tried the pistachio cake which is great although it is weirdly green.
I would definitely go back and enjoy another piece of cake.
Went in and had a lovely cuppa and cake with the other half. Left with several more cakes to go! Very happy with the cakes, and found the service to be polite and friendly.
