My absolute favourite place to get a coffee. The staff are incredibly precise at what they do and it pays off. Sure, it's a little more expensive than your run of the mill coffee shop but jeez, it's amazing. Fabio is amazing at what he does!

This is no place to come to sit and work, but if you are passing by and need the best coffee around to go, this is where you are going to find it. Amazing coffee, really good attention to detail. I had a long black with some steamed milk on the side and it was perfect. It also came with a tiny bar of chocolate which was a great accoutrement. All in all, i was impressed. The only thing I would say is that they could make the seating slightly more comfortable for those wanting to sit in.

Small cafe, clean, good coffee. It’s good to have a ago if you are near kings cross, but you do not need to come all the long from far place. As the name is prestige, then the price a bit more, but it’s okay. I have bought chocolate from other shop of them. It’s vey nice chocolate which I strongly recommend.

Probably the most fastidious third gen coffee haus you'll ever visit. Before they make your precious cup, you're asked to inhale the deep aroma of the ground coffee, destined to be your very own cup of coffee. The only thing they don't do is to give your coffee a name. Absurd, but oddly compelling.

We loved the vibe and the coffee in this unique shop. It was very busy with people and we had to wait a little bit to get our coffee but it was well worth it The coffee was superb. Has espresso from Costa Rica which was so rich and tasty. Well worth the wait.

This place is clearly working at another level. I've been here a few times now and every time has been excellent. The coffee has been consistently amazing. The staff have always been friendly and keen to share their expertise. I would recommend anyone visiting London to check this place out, not only for the delicious coffee but also for the experience. You also get free chocolate and madeleines :)

Absolutely fantastic coffee experience! Make no mistake this is a high end coffee shop with top-notch coffee tasting offers. The beans come from legendary places like Reunion and Yemen. Baristas are professional and enthusiastic about sharing their knowledge and experiences with customers. Definitely worth a trip, and the prices as well!

THE GREATEST COFFEE EXPERIENCE OF ALL TIME. If you consider yourself a coffee purist, then this is for you. It wasnt pretentious, but just one of those surreal experiences that you stumble into. To all the people who want to rush around and grab a coffee for a caffeine hit as you rush on your day, you can do that here but you are MISSING OUT on really savouring what this place is about. I was giving a tour of Kings Cross to friends who were visiting London and we popped in so they could get a coffee. I admit when I saw the prices they looked steep, but I just figured it was due to the ooh la la fancy Coal Drop Yard that just opened. My friends ordered and we were busy catching up when we slowly realised that this wasn't just coffee, it was theatre (a description will never do it justice but go and get a filter coffee of choice and just watch). As we sat drinking, the staff (Fabio and Ian) were extremely friendly and joined in our conversation and peppered in telling us about the beans, the chocolate etc etc. We sampled some chocolates from next door (to die for) and the madeleines were phenomenal (the owner is a chef with Michelin stars and it showed). We ended up buying some bags to go (I never do this). I have lived in London for 15 years and thought I had seen it all. This is coffee reinvented. Take the time to pop in and enjoy what it's about.

Stunning coffee bar with excellent artisanal coffee beans from Alain Ducasse. They have some really unique beans - like coffee from Reunion Island (France) and Cascara - which is dried coffee fruit skin served like tea! The filter coffee is really carefully prepared, and the Baristas there are super knowledgeable and friendly. The prices are a premium to other coffee shops, but it comes with yummy madelines and matched with little bars of Alain Ducasse chocolates.
