A great selection of savoury and sweet, I definitely recommend stopping here for a bite if you're visiting the museum!
I would recommend choosing the hot food option that's made fresh, some of the other food choices have been left on the display and it shows.

Such a beautiful location for a cafe, there really is nothing like sitting in that beautiful room! However I found the chocolate muffin to be incredibly dry, and I wouldn’t have it again. Would probably just stick to the tea

I decided that @vamuseum would be the museum of this London trip instead of the other big and famous ones. Saw a few good reviews of their cafe and it was indeed very beautiful!
The cake was nice and not a bad price for a museum, but most importantly it was so nice to sit and enjoy tea time and the extraordinary interior after walking around for hours.

Not to be missed is the V&A stunning cafe with frescoes, stained windows and great food options. Had tasty scone with clotted cream & jam & cappuccino - can't get better when surrounded by such ornate beauty. Great way to rest your feet after browsing the amazing collections here.

Just afternoon coffee but delicious cakes, scones etc, good selection and well presented. Average price at 3.95. Lose a star for no obvious vegan labelling and maybe no vegan choice. Coffee was good.
Staff seemed little disorganised but young and maybe still in training. Pleasant though. No outside possible due to wasps.
Cafe was excellent, clean and well spaced, comfortable seats. Pianist made our day.

A very nice place to go for tea and coffee, including light lunches. The interior of this cafe is stunning, especially the main hall, seating is comfortable, prices are reasonable, coffee is very good, and staff are friendly. Very clean here, definitely a really nice place to come for afternoon tea, morning coffee. I'll definitely be coming back soon.
