Gorgeous food, lovely open kitchen and ambiance is just fabulous. Always met with such lovely service and the seafood pasta is chefs kiss!! One of my favourite spots for lovely Italian food and fabulous wine in east London.

Loved the food. The place itself is one of those places - when you pass it on the street you go “that looks like a lovely place. I need to remember that.” And it is lovely - But at the end of the day, the food is everything. And the food here is great. Order like you’d order in Italy as it really is an Italian menu and Italian sized (I.e you might go for some starters then go for pasta then fish or meat)

One of those evenings that just make you smile and feel happy. Beautiful settings. Food was exceptional. Service was outstanding, our waiter Ryan was so attentive, knew the menu and advised perfectly. Thank you!

Decent food. Cosy environment. Staff on the stressed side and forgot a few things with us. The menu is in Italian without any translation. We had a nice time, though.

if it wasn’t for the atmosphere and the restaurant itself the rating would be a 3/5. the building itself and the ambiance within is amazing, but i think the food let it down. it was delicious but i think you can find better out there for the price, which is a shame.

Great freshly cooked, simple but tasty Italian food. You won't find an exhaustive menu here, but what they do have is good cooking and good ingredients. I never thought a plate of tomatoes, anchovies, salt and olive oil would ever be something I'd approve of, but it was really good. The sea bream was cooked nicely (my one complaint is that there were still bones present in the fillet) and the sauce presented with it complimented it well. The tiramisu here is good too; light and moist.

Fantastic dinner last night. First time we have visited and we got the best table in the house (in the middle courtyard). Server was brilliant at taking us through the menu and was vindicated on the dishes we ordered from his recommendations. The food was absolutely delicious, portions generous (the desserts especially), and was very quick to come. Was easily one of the best experiences we have had this year.

Warm homely restaurant selling hearty meals. I had their ragu and even though it may look small it was very filling to me! Candle lit tables with good atmosphere, I'd definitely recommend it for dates or a dinner with friends. We had the waiter explain what was on the menu since there wasn't any English or pictures (just a heads up). The flavours in the ragu was good, not sure how other people were saying it was too bland in the other reviews. The lemonade I ordered was much more on the sour side and only the last part of the drink was sweet? I think they made it on the spot so the sugar didn't have the proper time to dissolve maybe. The chocolate cake they served wasn't very moist and it was crumbly/dry; I'm not sure if that counts as staleness though. Little bit hard to find as it was in a back alley of sorts but overall the experience was good. Bonus: there was a cute cat taking a nap :D

I think is probably the best Italian restaurant in London that still respect delicate and authentic flavors - without making food “richer” to meet the non Italian diners who are used to very strong flavors - and also their price is still fair. The ambience of the place is also super cozy and authentic. Please don’t change the good job you have been doing!

Went for a Thursday work lunch. Authentic restaurant, nicely decorated. We had the burrata for starter, which I managed to get tomato juice down my white blouse (very embarrassing at a work lunch). Once I'd finished cleaning myself up which mainly consisted of rubbing the tomato juice further into my blouse, we were served our mains. I had this risotto which was served with parmesan cheese. This was very delicious, good sized portion. Only compliant was the service was a little slow. I am also celiac and although there was a few options for me to pick from for the starter, the risotto was the only gluten free main. I would have liked to have seen more options/
