Excellent food and service. We especially liked the onion bhaji rings.

If you are looking for a bar with two pool tables and a darts board in the centre of London you may well struggle as we did....until we found the Wood Street bar. Spent an enjoyable couple of hours pool with a bar just a few yards away from the pool table. Will definitely be back. Staff friendly and attentive which is always a bonus.

A really nice pub, selling a decent range of real ales. Tucked away in a corner of the Barbican complex, I'd not had any idea it was there, but found it in the Good Beer Guide. The back terrace has views of the Barbican development.

Great to see Wood Street open again. You can't stand around of course, everyone needs to be seated to be Covid secure. Food and drinks were excellent, great service too. Definitely worth a visit if you can.

Haven't had any food experience yet. Drinks were of a good selection particularly on tap. Traditional pub with views over the Barbican estate ponds.

Surprisingly good food here and great choices of beers and ciders. The nachos are especially good and the fries too. Darts and billiards downstairs too, a perfect pub! Staff are super friendly and if you go every week at the same time like I do they get to know your order and name and those little details are very nice.

Nice quaint pub with darts and billiards available downstairs. A large board room table downstairs too, good for a big group

The pub has a very rustic vibe which I enjoy. It got pool tables, dart boards and poker as well. The service is great and barmaid and bartenders as re very friendly. The only downside I see is that there isn't enough room to host a big group. Plenty of room for smaller groups but not much room for big groups .

Decent pub nestled in Barbican with pool, darts and craft beer on tap. Good for after work drinks.

Thoroughly recommended. Wood Street Bar is in an interesting location with the Barbican landscaping and "lake" behind, views over the water while you dine - and a great menu. The burger is top quality! Not to mention friendly staff, good range of beers and large games room - pool darts and cards etc. What more could you want?

We booked to come here for a pretheatre dinner. We were delayed in getting to London so I emailed to let them know and they were fine with it. A member of staff helped us navigate my wheelchair through the bar and showed us to our table. He was really kind and attentive, which was good as we had less time for dinner than we'd expected. I had the chimichurri steak sandwich, which was really delicious, and my partner had the fish and chips which were honestly outstanding. Our meal came quickly and we were able to get to the theatre in plenty of time. A good place.

July 2022. I can watch water stream and enjoy pints. As for snacks, beef jerky is available , definitely I like. At basement floor, darts and pool. it looks very occupied but it means this place is loved. As for me, I am prefer bitter of Samuel Smith to that of this place.

Great pub with darts and pool in the basement, didn't need a reservation when others in the area refused entry because they said they were fully booked. Great service from attentive staff.

I had just been on a tour back stage at the Barbican. Very enjoyable. Found the wood st pub which is in the Barbican, I liked it a lot friendly and efficient staff and Real Ales on tap 👍, it was very buzzy. If visiting the Barbican it's wall worth a vist.

Lovely little bar on the edge of the Barbican estate. I imagine it'd be great in the summer. Pool and darts downstairs. Very nice staff, and decent beer selection.
